Former US Womens keeper with presumably totally made up name "Hope Solo" says the gap between what women at this years work cup earn verses what men earned last year is unnaceptable and is suing (some one, I don't know who)
At no point does it mention about 2 billion people tune in to the mens final and hundreds of millions watch the whole tournament.
I literally didn't know there was a women's world cup this year and don't really care I didn't know.
As far as I'm concerned, they're two different sports so far as the gulf in quality is concerned. It's got nothing to do with sexism and everything to do with marketability. If no one watches women's football, where does she think all the hundreds of millions will come from?
