Lovely news. That in line with this summers business means that if he stays even beyond next season, perfect, but if this is to be his last season then we’ve future proofed for left back.Danny Rose is staying!!!

Or, Rose was curious what other opportunities were out there, and Poch didn't stand in the way.So reading between the lines, the club wanted to cash in on him, but the player and manager wanted him here?
That doesn’t seem in any way implied. I think it’s quite black and white. Rose wanted to test whether there was something better for him out there, Pochettino wanted to be supportive as they have a good relationship and Pochettino is a man first, a manager second. As Danny couldn’t find what he was looking for (and he may not even be sure what that is), Pochettino has welcomed him back in.So reading between the lines, the club wanted to cash in on him, but the player and manager wanted him here?

No way is the board dictating to Pochettino to sell a first team player, his resignation letter would be on Levy’s desk before the ink was dry.
It’s definitely confusing.Yeah fair enough, suppose you can read different things into it. If that is the case though, hopefully it means that the supposed mooted move up north didn’t present itself and he won’t be tempted if a European team come in for him in the next few weeks.
To be honest, there has been so much conflicting information and conjecture about Rose’s situation ( including quotes from himself) that I’m not sure what to believe.
I just hope he’s here come Sep 1st. We need him.
I think Danny is just looking for a last decent contact somewhere that we've not been forthcoming with. From his last comments he mentioned about spurs not giving out many contacts to players of a certain age.So reading between the lines, the club wanted to cash in on him, but the player and manager wanted him here?
Hope we give him a new contract to make him feel important so he can kick on.
