Think when everyone is fit he will be sub but not against him playing RB. He is a better option than Sanchez in that position

Is he our best right back...

Still think Foyth deserves an opportunity to stake his claim. He should get one now.

Not in response to Legin but in general I know it'd be easy to write Aurier off now, He has had a lot of chances, there's no denying that but it was never going to be a linear trajectory upwards with him this season, there was always going to be bumps in the road and specifically bumps which involve stupidity. However if we don't give him the platform to grow, the chance to work on his concentration then we will never reap the rewards because clearly there's a semi decent player in there somewhere. I think we need to put him back in the 11 when we get the opportunity and see if he can develop. So far what we've done is give him a small run then he fucks up and then we cycle through our rb list and by the time we get back to him the chance to develop is gone.

The key to improvement is consistent repetition where you grow from your mistakes and iron them out, personally I'd like to see us try that instead of cycle again. Yes I'd like to see Foyth in the rotation also as there's enough games for them both. I know Aurier is not a long term solution and I feel that will need to be sorted with a transfer window but right now we need to take the steps to make the best of what we have.

Thought he showed exactly why he was given a new contract.

Down to 10 men and did exactly what was asked of him in the unfamiliar RB role. Did’nt let the side down and put in a real shift.

Interesting to hear Perryman during his half time interview explaining that you can't have a team made up entirely of Hoddle's or Ardiles which is why we have Sissoko - to do the hard running and let others express themselves. Excellent game today as most of their threat came from wide areas and he did really well covering at RB after Serge's brainfart.

Well Poch’s comment was strange. But honestly, a question like that the day before a massive CL match where all the focus should have been on that is ridiculous and purely designed for click bait headlines, whether praising the player or not. Especially when you already had 2 previous pressers to ask it. I expect that from Sky or some outlet that isnt in the room every day. Come on, Ally.

Could see where Poch is coming from. I think is purely Levy protecting assets. Cant really see Sissoko being here in 2 years. And he doesnt strike me as someone part of Poch’s rebuild. More like someone to help get us through a transition period which we are in.

Another pretty dumb media comment from Poch tbh. Regardless if he agrees with the decision or not you shouldn't react like that to a player being given a new contract. Keep your grievances in house.

I'm not a big lover of his football ability but I love the person he is, the man constantly takes responsibility and you can see why we constantly find new ways to fit him in because he shows up. If the others had half the integrity Sissoko has then he'd be on the bench.

Bonkers to think that, after the start of his Spurs career, he’s one of the few to come out of this period with any real credit.

Whether or not you think he should be in the first team, he’s a fantastic player and guy to have in the squad.

If only he could finish ?

Moussa is the last one who needs to put out a message like that. In fairness to Eriksen, he couldn’t possibly come out of hiding and post such a message because he’s too busy getting pegged by his missus

How the fuck did Moussa Sissoko become the heart and mouthpiece of our team? Crazy times.
