Mourinho would be a shocking choice. 10 behind the ball and he was appalling at United. He's lost it, the modern game has passed his style.

It was just the tone of your post. I understand that you believe it was the right decision but your hint of glee doesn't sit right with me. Poch deserves more respect than fans immediately goggling at trophies under the "special one"

Wrong decision for me. Should have been given the full season and two more windows to turn it around. Don’t care if we ended up mid table this season, for me the amazing work he had already done for us bought him enough credit for more patience than this.

Poch did things that no coach has done in a long time at Spurs. His greatest legacy is that he changed the atmosphere within the club from a fighting for Europa to an expectation of CL. The over achievement and development of players in the early years eventually gave way to poorer performances and probably a loss of esprit de corps. I only hope that key players are on board with the incoming manager. God Speed Mauricio and may your next stint take you far away from the shores of England.
