I really have to laugh at some of you morons, who the fuck do you think you are to question mourinho managing us, like we're some sort of godly side that is too good for him. We've just been dicked by half of the utter drivel in this league.

He's a huge statement for us and a fantastic appointment. As with any manager, he'll have my full support, that's because I support Tottenham Hotspur.
People are entitled to their opinion. I haven't read one person saying they don't want to win something. Calling fellow spurs fans morons for having an opinion is really uncalled for. Jose is an incredibly divisive manager and I completely see both sides of the coin. He does win things of course but he also plays incredibly dull football aside from not being a particularly nice human being. I'm a season ticket holder and will support whoever is in charge. But I am not a fan of his and hate his brand of football, personally I think it's outdated and very far from the type of football I want to see us play. But I will stand by him and I will not call my fellow spurs fans who think he's god's gift morons for thinking this.

Scary how much coverage Jose brings. SSN have been all about his appointment for 5 hours. He is box office, Levy will be loving this.
It's even been the top story on the Norwegian equivalent to BBC. It's mostly because they think Solskjær's job is under threat by Poch, but still.

No we weren't. We actually played our best football in the CL - even in the early (losing) qualifying games we were much better than our league form. Should have easily accounted for Inter away; great game against Barca at Wembley with a Messi special beating us. And beating Dortmund, City and Ajax was an astounding achievement.

Make your point but don't make shit up please.

Alright, let's look at the evidence.

We played 1,170 minutes of Champions League football last season, not including stoppage time.

We only led our opponents for 174 of those minutes.

That is not what playing your best football looks like, by any stretch of the imagination.

The only game we really truly dominated and demolished our opponent in was the 3-0 win over Dortmund. Every other round we scraped through on last minute goals or VAR decisions. There's nothing wrong with progressing in that way, it's perfectly valid and I'm here for any team shit housing a win by any means possible.

But that does not mean we played good football in the Champions League. Far, far from it. The fact we somehow reached the final seems to be clouding your judgment massively of what was, in fact, a lacklustre campaign.

Just waiting for him to announce his coaching team now. I'm assuming the plan is to get Tim Sherwood in as his assistant so he can be groomed for the top job, I think it just came that little bit too early for him last time.

The reaction from some of you shows how much of a weak mentality you have and how much this has plagued our fans for years. We have just appointed a serial winner who's has won more trophies since he started managing than our entire club history, whatever way you want to look at it this is a momentous day yet some of you are too busy hoping that he fails.

Do you want to win a fucking trophy or not?
Do you want our club to be taken seriously or not?
Do you want to keep the likes of Kane or not?

Ask yourself this question as to why we are continually the bridesmaids and we'd never win anything...it's because the entire culture and mentality of this club is based around being 'Spursy' something that our fans are all too happy to embrace.

Change your mentality, we're a huge club starved of success it's only right that we have the best in charge to oversee the change in fortunes at this club.

Like him or loathe him one thing is for sure - Levy can't be accused of trophy dodging with this appointment. Mourinho exists to win trophies even if it means a scorched earth policy. Levy knows this.

Interesting times.

No. The fact that I was at every single game informs my judgement. We were excellent against Inter away and Barca at home in the early rounds of the CL. Much better than our patchy league form at that time. We just weren't getting the results.

Later on when we collapsed in the league we did, indeed, scrape through getting results that didn't necessarily match our play.

You don't have to shit on everything about our CL run last year to justify wanting Poch out. It's fake news shit. Stop it.

That's true. If only we offered him the opportunity to stay, maybe in the form of some sort of signed document that would commit his future to the club for the foreseeable future.
Sorry I meant wants to stay now Poch has gone, not that I’m saying that’s right.
