No, I totally get the discussion you were having and the larger point. I've posted plenty in here and elsewhere on this whole discussion, and there's no value in having it again now.

Just don't let yourself get wound up or drawn into the CL final thing. Its always going to be mentioned.

Anyway, I'll keep my neb out.

?

The only reason I'm responding is because he is using that as a reason as to why Poch should have kept his job which you agree with...you're acting like the mere mention of reaching the CL final upsets me when I've said nothing of the sort.

Stop trying to straw man you weirdo lol

Come on are you justifying that?
Can't believe any spurs fan would.. Whatever the circumstances,

Not justifying, just offering an angle. I don’t think it’s too mental to think that Teddy would say something along the lines of “If I was him I’d go to Arsenal to get revenge on Levy.”

And then in the next sentence say “Arsenal are scum, Spurs will smash them.”

I don’t see a huge issue with Teddy’s loyalty or lack of to Levy is what I’m saying.

If he goes to Arsenal at this moment in time he would burn all bridges with Spurs/the fans. If in 15 years time he went I think it would still be seen as a negative by spurs fans but wouldn't be as outraged.

I’d imagine most of the people expressing grief at the end of an era whereby the majority took great pleasure from most of Pochettino’s management have also suffered what you’d call genuine grief at some point. Either that are this forum is populated with immortals who don’t have relatives who die?

There isn’t? But how will I ever know what I should feel in any given moment? We might score and I’ll punch the old man who sits in front of me. My wife might have a horrible day and I’ll laugh hysterically. Rise of Skywalker might be total shit and I’ll run through the streets naked with my member on fire.

I feel like you’re speaking too much sense here, gtfo

This just makes me want to give you a hug! Sadly I know that this comment removes my right to ever serve my country in time’s of war.

still missing the point with style.

Now those are men’s men!

Ultimately, nobody should just anybody for feeling an emotion with which they can’t identify. It’s not conducive to, well, any form of civilised discussion.

i agree, I’m just not sure calling everyone a big mean brexit qualifies as civilised conversation.

and of the absolutes: what of the emotions of the people who got dissed by people who didn’t identify with them for dissing them for having emotions with which they don’t identify? No, no, no.

sorry to dredge up, it was a matter of import.

Im just grateful no one was injured.

He'll be the next United manager, pretty sure on that.

United may, publicly, be behind OGS but football is all about timing.

If they don't move for Poch relatively soon they risk missing out.

If they badly still want him they'll no doubt be planning now.

Not a chance Poch goes to Arsenal, United a far bigger platform for him, not to mention the obvious.

The very same people who were not supportive of Poch when he was our manager are now the very people who are asking for him to join Utd, Scum etc etc. My opinion FWIW is that Poch will take time before he steps into his next job. He will be hurting by this sacking and like Jose would be better to take time out regenerate himself and comeback reinvigorated. I personally would like to see him get a job abroad at least that way you wouldn't have to watch him in an prem oppo dug-out week in week out.

I do wonder about people sometimes. Poch after all he's done for us, the relationship he had with fans and what we know of the man will 100% not take any job at Arsenal. It's like nobody has listened to him for 5 years. Not that I'm surprised, nobody believed him while he was here that he wouldn't leave us for another team while he had a contract with us (despite some of his flirting).

He may go to Man Utd and I wouldn't be surprised if he did in the summer, if his severance packet allows it. Would I like it, no. Would I want him to fail because it might benefit us, yes.

The best thing would be for him to get a nice job somewhere abroad. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Madrid in the summer either.

But lets get one thing straight, he won't be going to Arsenal. No way.

Anyone know for sure if he’s on gardening leave or if he has left with some sort of package which presumably have some sort of clauses in them hence Levys offer of him resigning whereby he could go wherever he chose rather than having clauses inserted in to a severance package?

On his links to Arsenal, these are comments from January 2018.

Pochettino said: "I am never going to be manager of Barcelona or Arsenal because I am so identified with Tottenham and Espanyol."

Yer, but then as we learned recently, Jose said that of us because of Chelsea... until they sacked him.
