Right. Plus if he does the 3 at the back thing when we're attacking then Verts can just slide in as the LCB easily as Aurier pushes forwards.

I like that tactic, get Aurier as far away from our goal as possible ?

Not all of them. My mums currently wandering around outside the ground 'accidentally' bumping into people and relieving them of their wallets and tickets. She's the Greek artful dodger, aka artfulakis dodgeropoulos
I once heard a similar story from Prince Phillip :cautious: The tosser he is leads me to think he is an Arsenal fan. I might be digressing.

What’s the love in for the bench all about? Is Austin as fit as Gazza?

Genuinely wondering why Vertonghen isn't playing. I was not particularly amazed by Alderweireld/Sanchez pairing vs. West Ham.

Jose not messing around with rotation. This is all about finding his best XI and only making changes due to injury or poor performance.

Probably the right thing to do tbh.

He and Ndombele just returned to training like a day or 2 ago.
Nah, I know he's been injured very recently but Vertonghen was in training last week. I mean he might have gotten a new knock since then for all I know. Just want to see how he does in a Mourinho lineup.
