One change to the team that beat West Ham on Saturday as Danny Rose comes in for the injured Ben Davies at left-back. Jan Vertonghen and Tanguy Ndombele return from injury to take their places on the bench.

Referee: _ __ Georgi Kabakov (Bulgaria)

Team Form: __ Spurs __ LDWDW _____ Olympiacos __ WDLWD _____ (All Competitions)

We have met Olympiakos (OL) 3 times in all competitions (W1 D1 L1), most recently drawing 2-2 on MD1 of this season’ EUFA Champions league (CL). We had gone 2-0 up in this match before OL pulled 2 goals back to claim a draw.

We are unbeaten in our last 5 games in European competition against Greek teams (W3 d2), having lost 2 of the previous between 1972 AND 2011 (d1). OL lost their only previous away match against us – losing 0-4 in October 1972 in the EUFA Cup. Indeed, OL have only ever won once in their 14 away games against English teams in European competition (W1 D1 L12), winning 3-2 vs Arsenal in Sept 2015 in the CL. We have never drawn a CL group stage game at home. We have won 10 and lost 4.

OL are winless in 12 CL games (W0 D2 L10), although one of the two games in which they have avoided defeat in this run was against us on MD1, the 2-2 draw.

Son has scored 5 CL goals this season – he is the first Asian player to reach the tally in a single season in the competition.

Not too worried. Away to them they were given way too much space and was let into the match very easily after 2-0. Above all the amount of shots they had was outrageous. That won't happen again, and so I'm guessing a clear win for Tottenham.

Would like to see Foyth and Lo Celso given a chance to stake their claim in this one.

Suspect Jose is going to be a lot less forgiving and patient with someone like Foyth than Pochettino might have been.

Given up my usual seat to go stand in the Wall for this game. I was up for it anyway after the Red Star demolitions, but I think there's going to be a particularly special atmosphere tomorrow night. Also, I think our aspirations for this tournament have taken a bit of a boost. Looking forward to it.

SO I guess we know the starting line up then just need to know goal keeper and if its Eriksen or Lo celso

Or perhaps the opposite: that we’ll see heavy rotation while Mourinho learns about the squad. One would think the likely starters would train as a group to work on tactics and team shape.

That's my opinion too. Looks like it's the same selection from the West Ham game.

They would be training separately to do some initial stretching compared to the other guys who would be doing a bit more conditioning as they didn’t play the game.

That definitely isn’t an indication to the starting line up tomorrow, it’s completely standard.

Was going to say the same thing. The first XI from the weekend are off by themselves stretching to assess for any problems?

Lamela and Davies not training today. Think Mourinho will go full strength ....no point messing about.
Absolutely no point in messing about. I believe he will go full strength with little rotation in the first few games, picking who he thinks is the best team every game. We need to get a run of wins to build confidence in the group before experimenting with the newer and youth players. Players like Foyth, Lo Celso, Skipp and Sessesgnon will need to be patient, and take their chances from the bench or when players are injured.

Wondering what the atmosphere will be like for this one, tickets have slowly been selling but plenty still available.

Win tomorrow and we go through, I think the obvious no nonsense approach will be taken and we ensure we dont need anything from the Munich game.
