A few have suggested this and is logical, tough watch obviously, how many more league games left? 9? That feels like far to many right now!I think it's because we probably couldn't maintain that level throughout the whole game. If we contain in the first half and go for it in the second half then we have a chance.
Can someone tell me where the serial winner, Jose, is hiding?
He's a good player! But not our only one. It's a talented squad for the most part which should be doing a bit better. And he does need to just make sure he concentrates right till the death. I'm still very, very excited about him. It’s really hard to argue against the belief that some Spurs fans are desperate to see the club fail when you’ve got fucking numbskulls criticising Lo Celso who is literally the only player giving me hope for our future.
If you were cereal you’d be muesli because posts like this are as boring and unoriginal as they come. Can someone tell me where the serial winner, Jose, is hiding?
Cereal winner more like. This is a big pile of Coco Pops.
Heaton's 33 and had lost his place to Pope...

Why do you think he left for Villa? Because he lost his place to Pope.Didn’t realise he was 33 and he didn’t lose his place to pope he plays for villa now
It's not that bad mate. Poor first half but changed it up at half time not great at the moment but we'll be fine, in the end. On to Tuesday - #COYSGood thing I didn’t watch it I see. Really feeling so much better by not watching Sours at the moment.
But then again I come in here and get instant negative vibes.
I think we could all do with that, the squad is crying out for it.Hopefully we’ll have Kane for the last 3-4 of those matches. That’ll give the fans a lift if nothing else.

And the first half which was genuinely poor. I get that he's trying to make the system work but I think he needs to be pragmatic till the end of the season. Some on here are far too negative, but it'll feel very different after one good result.1-1 at Turf Moor seems decent enough considering the shitshow we’re currently in.
I agree. It's certainly frustrating. But we're not good enough to control the game. Not good enough defensively or clinical up front to play counter attacking football. Just muddling through right now.A few have suggested this and is logical, tough watch obviously, how many more league games left? 9? That feels like far to many right now!
And everyone will complain because Kane plays when he isn't match fit yet.Hopefully we’ll have Kane for the last 3-4 of those matches. That’ll give the fans a lift if nothing else.
For me it's not just the absences. It's the fact that Jose has tried to play a different style to mitigate them, and it doesn't work with our weak defence and everchanging CMs. Maybe long term it will be a good plan B (and we do need one!), but probably needs to be shelved until preseason. Our record since Mourinho replaced Pochettino, divided by strikers.
Subtle, isn't it?
- Kane & Son available: 19 points from 11 matches @ 1.73 points/match.
- Kane injured, Son available: 18 points from 9 matches @ 2.00 points/match.
- Kane & Son injured: 1 point from 5 matches @ 0.20 points/match.
I'm probably out on my own with this ideal, but I'd hope we scrounge a few more points, make sure we're all good and then hope Jose just admits defeat with hoping the team can control 1-0 leads and lets them open up a bit more. We've had our spells but as you say both the final third and at the back it's all very hit and miss - very much the story of the season and under both managers. I feel equally sorry for the both of them in that respect - players just seemingly having form and ability drop off virtual cliff faces.I agree. It's certainly frustrating. Good to see Dier putting in a better performance. Right now we just want to get through the season and hopefully a few of our players get back to their current level.
