No matter how bad our defence was, the officiating was as bad if not worse. Not blaming it on our players having zero belief but if that goal doesnt get chalked off and Norwood gets correctly sent off we win that game 9 times out of 10.

Moura playing the whole match could be a sackable move.
He should be sold. Simple as that.

I will love him for the CL semi final and the person he is but he lacks intelligence and causes us more problems than solving them because his instinct is to get his head down and run with it.

He doesn't make clever runs, he doesn't make instinctive passes, he just gets in the way or slows an attack down. And he's utterly useless against packed defences.

Cash in now if we can and get an intelligent attacker.

If the squad's so shit, then I'd rather have the manager who took those shit players to a Champions League Final than the one taking them to the bottom half after having more than £150m spent on improvements.

Jose has not spent £150m here, what are you talking about?

Poch didn’t take us to a champions league final, VAR did. We were woeful for the majority of the CL campaign, and it acted as a handy band-aid for those who wanted to pretend we hadn’t gone into freefall well over 18 months ago now.

Abject. And before anyone starts talking about ‘rebuild’ or ‘play the ‘youngsters‘ etc... you’re talking shit. The team we put out there today had more talent than Sheffield Utd could ever dream of. This is purely a coaching and tactical failure and nothing to do with quality of player.
This is it for me - we had the more talented team and squad. Sheffield Utd have a clear game plan, everyone knows what to do and they scrap for everything.

We may or may not have the team to compete with ManU, ManC, Liverpool, etc etc but we certainly should have enough for games like this.

Levy has completely fucked it up in that he's got a project on his hands and a manager who doesn't do projects. It's a fucking disaster.

2nd goal was a disgrace. Guy on the touchline ablut to cut the ball back or accross. You are meant to have 1 cb in line with the ball and 1 marking the striker. Both of them did NEITHER

You cannot blame any manager for that shitness

there were so many faults in that 2nd goal.
No pressure for Aurier.

Ball watching in the box,

would love to see the analysis With those space circles, we were nowhere near any of those players.

To be fair Sheffield United have almost everyone back in their box defending but then again they had four or five men in out box for their second goal.
Conclusion? They work harder and are better than us, sorry but it's as simple as that.

Cant disagree with any of that, but the same was true in the reverse fixture in Poch’s last game. It’s been a joyless season where we’ve been on rapid decline from the first weekend. With some of those players I don’t think any coach could save it. Supporting Spurs is going to be miserable for a while. The team looks rotten - no character, composure or fight. Just a group of players who look like they’d rather be some place else.

Mourinho is no dummy but what can he do?

Are we seriously going to start screeching that this rot started when we got rid of Poch?

Really?

Levy and Poch’s arrogance, complacency and sheer incompetence in the transfer market over multiple are where this decline began.

It accelerated in Poch’s final year (one away win in almost a year, remember that?) and no manager is going to turn it round in a short space of time, the rot has sunk so deep.

We need wholesale change, beginning at the top. And we do not need fucking Poch back, no matter how loudly the hardcore Pochettes scream and shout and wear their collective memory loss on their snot-drenched sleeves.
I agree about Poch but Mourinho hasn’t worked either. He needs to go.

But as you indicate, this is ultimately down to the summer 2018 transfer window. There’s a very good reason no other club in the history of the Premier League failed to invest in a summer transfer window. Astonishing arrogance and negligence by both Poch and Levy. I adored the Poch era, but that was the death knell, way back then when both our manager and Chairman played chicken with the club’s future

Looking objectively though, that equaliser and a deserved red card for Norwood would obviously have had a massive impact on the outcome of the match.

But second half started shit and got progressively worse with some truly unacceptable off the ball decision making and diabolical individual defensive performances.

Stick a fork in us, we're done for 2020....
But that could be covering over the cracks.

If we were a good team we wouldn't lose 3-1 to Sheff Utd and play so inspidly in the second half when losing. Simple as that

Sheff Utd have been shit since the return. With that in mind I expect them to win tomorrow.
