The trust seem to think its unlikely that the exchange or share option will be an option if its reduced capacityThe news about purely digital ticketing is big news. Say you have a group of you that go together, if someone can't make the game then it looks like you won't be able to invite a mate to come with you - instead you'll have to put it on the ticket exchange and hope for the best. I know it was always supposed to be the case that you can't re-sell the ticket, but on a practical level I'm sure nobody had any real qualms with people passing on the odd ticket to their mates if the regulars from the group can't go, are they really saying it's not possible?
No clearance of loyalty points or opportunity to earn more this season by buying additional tickets as well - that means it becomes impossible to move "up" the system to get closer towards away games allocations.
And then they're asking for a 20% deposit up front - even though we've got no idea if any football is actually going to take place at the stadium. Madness.
That's all making me highly dubious about renewing TBH

The deposit makes sense as they need to know, and also for people who want to move seats. Imo though they should only ask for any more money on a game by game basis. For example it says by optional ballot, I certainly won’t be rushing to attend so will not be applying for the ballot at the beginning so don’t see why I should pay more than the deposit?
Ticket deposits are "cash flow", not "income". Cash flow has no bearing on transfers. Short-term ticket receipts also have no bearing on transfers, even in normal times. Transfer fees are not paid for using cash receipts from fans.I see this as the club needing the income for transfers...
I dont even know how much theyre refunding me yet...
Depends on what the capacity and the demand it. I don't think it'd be fair to have a system where some ST holders can go to every game but others can't go at all. I'd do the same thing which was put in place for members in the last season at WHL: loyalty points for Cat A games, ballot for the others.Agreed it’s a joke. Absolutely no idea if fans will even be allowed back in the stadium this season!!
Also the ballot system for reduced capacity should be done on loyalty points I think

Yeah there should be a years sabbatical imo. Not for free, it’s reasonable to ask for a deposit ( maybe even higher than 20%) that can be held over for another years time if circumstances mean you think it isn’t safe to attend.
I mean who knows how this is going to play out over the next 6 months or so?
We hoped there would be a similar situation when we were asked to traipse to Wembley but alas the club couldn’t give a shit
Basically give us your money again or fuck off...

Actually trust have said that if next season happens without fans then the deposit would go against your 2021/22 ticket, that certainly didn't come across in the mail the club sent out.
And what if it goes ahead with fans ( a bit like the pubs opening) but a lot of people think it’s completely irresponsible and don’t want to be anywhere near it?
It’s if and when we are asked to pay the balance that I mostly have an issue with.
It’s getting there from south London that’s my problem. I don’t want to use public transport. 15 mile cycle is too far for me too
Doesn’t affect me personally as we drive, but yeah that’s another big issue. Especially as they have made such a big deal about it fans using public transport to get there.
Also I always go to the games with my son, what happens if he gets to go and I don’t...the whole point of the season ticket was going together and sitting next to each other...
