Where do you park? I would drive but would then have to pay for congestion charge and parking. I might as well risk an Uber!

In back streets off the A406. About 25-30 min walk away ( PM me if you want the exact location as I’m not going public with it ;) ).

Coming from a completely different direction to you though as I’m in Essex.

Also I always go to the games with my son, what happens if he gets to go and I don’t...the whole point of the season ticket was going together and sitting next to each other...
Similar situation as I go with my Dad. Also, my Dad is in a higher risk category than me as far as Covid-19 is concerned.
Same her, my dads 67 and it’s always been me, him, my uncle who is 65, and two cousins. Given the nature of how Spurs support is passed on (brainwashing by fathers as opposed to supporting a successful team) I’d suggest a lot of us are in this situation.

That’s fair enough. If it’s a good safe spot keep it to yourself!

I am ok with 20% as a deposit(that could be carried over to the 21/22 season) but I am still undecided on whether to renew as there are lots of factors to consider.

A bit concerned as I live a long way away and drive in. But if everyone else now does this there will be no parking places

Just written elsewhere. My father in law hasn’t got a smart phone. He’s nearly 90. I look after him at the games. He gets his way there though. What happens here.

That’s true but I can’t see more than 30k being allowed into the ground next season, and maybe beyond

Of the 1m social distance is still in place then I'm assuming for every one person they'll take up three at least and that's assuming you can use say the row in front of that individual. 30k is optimistic, maybe 15 to 20 at most I think...

I would have liked it if they had offered people the opportunity to say forego next season and hold over the seats for the following season. They have offered it for people with covid conditions but should have extended to others in my view.

So they want 20% upfront which I can accept with the current situation but the non-refundable bit is bit of a cheek.
Some more clarity on those who do not have compatible smartphones would be nice, I have a PAYG smartphone but it is 6 years old and can't download the Spurs app as it is not compatible , recently had a message from the flash scores app "due to your outdated android version we no longer support your app", imagine taking you car to a garage and getting told "sorry mate your car is 6 years old we can't get the spares for it" .

Thing about smartphones is that they ain't so smart, at games I have my little old outdated medium wave radio on with earplug listening to BBC 5 live , I am telling those around me scores from other games whilst their smartphones are a minute or so behind with the latest scores , superfast digital I don't think so.

Our stadium may have the technology to track who is in the stadium so that the following statement can be implemented ... ", it is vital that we know exactly who is entering the stadium – important for supporter security, location and the Government’s Track and Trace scheme. " ... but thousands of other venues in the country do not have this technology so what happens to them .

Actually trust have said that if next season happens without fans then the deposit would go against your 2021/22 ticket, that certainly didn't come across in the mail the club sent out.
It would have to. They could be challenged in law on that. You can't charge someone for a service then withdraw that service without refunding them.

Would be nice to have clarification if the pro-rata'd refund can be used against the 20% deposit or not. At this point I'm 75% in favour of not renewing.

Exceptional Circumstances for supporters with COVID-19 related medical conditions

For those supporters unable to renew their Season Ticket due to COVID-19 related medical circumstances, we shall reserve your seat and hold it over for the 2021/22 season.

This bit is not clear. What are these medical circumstances? Do they need a proof (say a medical certificate)? What if you are over 70 or a BAME person of origin, aren’t you at an increased risk?

They said it can

Supporters can make the initial payment with credit held on their One Hotspur Ticketing account. If their current credit balance does not meet the cost of the initial payment, the remaining amount can be paid using a credit or debit card. Supporters without any credit in their Ticketing account can pay the initial amount by credit/debit card or use V12 Finance.

Exactly. What if you are healthy, but you have vulnerable relatives that rely on you? They should have extended this to every ST holder.

This is from yesterday's email:

"This will see all Season Ticket Holders and Members entering the stadium via their mobile device, rather than their Stadium Access Card or E-ticket. When you renew your Season Ticket in full or purchase a future match ticket, your confirmation email will contain a link to download a pass directly onto your compatible mobile device. This pass is all you will need to enter the stadium on a matchday.

"We shall provide further information on the details of this, including guidance for supporters who do not own a suitable device, in due course."

The email says this:

"For those supporters unable to renew their Season Ticket due to COVID-19 related medical circumstances, we shall reserve your seat and hold it over for the 2021/22 season. All you will be required to do is make the initial payment now - this will be credited to your 2021/22 Season Ticket and Ticketing Points for renewal will be applied at that time too - and then complete an online form which will be provided post making the payment."

It doesn't, however, define what is a "COVID-19 related medical circumstance". Does that denote someone who has had COVID-19 and has health problems as a result, or someone who has been shielding because they have conditions that put them at risk if they catch COVID-19?

If it's the latter, it could apply to every supporter over 65, or every supporter with a cardiac, respiratory or immune medical history. That's a hell of a lot of supporters - including me. There's no indication of how one can find out what will qualify as a "COVID-19 related medical circumstance". People like me need to know that before the renewal window opens. It's an option I would be likely to take up, in part because I don't want to take public transport - the match itself it outdoors and I'm less concerned about socially-distanced outdoor events than I am about being in a bus or a pub.

The email continues:

"All you will be required to do is make the initial payment now - this will be credited to your 2021/22 Season Ticket and Ticketing Points for renewal will be applied at that time too - and then complete an online form which will be provided post making the payment."

There is no indication of when or how we can find out who qualifies. I'm guessing there won't be any information until one is actually making the initial payment, where there will be a box to tick that connects you to the online form.

I guess I'm going to have to email the '[email protected]' email at the stadium and enquire. If I find out anything useful, I'll post it.

Jesus some of you need to calm down and use common sense, if the stadium can't be opened they're not just going to just take our money and say "unlucky, we told you it was non-refundable" are they?! The negative press alone wouldn't be worth it, there would be a shit storm.

That's quite obviously never going to happen and worst case they'd probably end up giving it as a credit in our accounts again or something.

Please report back - there will be lots of people in the same boat.
I have just sent them a detailed email.

Previous experience with them is that the replies tend to be a bit ... confused. It sometimes takes a few goes before I can get any sense out of them.
