Adults don’t have difficult times at “work”...? Ok.

if you or I don’t perform to expectations “at work” for a full year, then you or I would be put on a performance improvement plan and/or fired.

He’s had plenty of time to get over injuries and get in shape over the break, but obviously did not do that to Mourinho’s satisfaction. I will give him time to adapt to the pace and rigor of the PL, but not being in shape is unacceptable. We’ll see if he used the time from the end of the season to work out like Hart did and be ready for the new season, or if he comes back still out of shape.

Did everyone else have the problem when you'd loan them out from your school library, and some dick had already gone through the entire book circling everything in pen:mad:

Does anyone actually know where Tanguy is?
Ally Gold said on his recent video he wasn't sure where Tanguy was but there were rumors he was in France continuing rehab on the injury that kept him out the last 3 games and also rumors there were first XI players training with the club and not featured in promotion pics or the preseason Match (Ally Gold specifically says he knows several first team players fall into the latter but he does not have names so no idea if that includes Tanguy or not).

I don't really want to admit this, but I hope we sell him ?

Massive fan of his, and really wanted him to sign but I just can't see Jose picking him much next season. Even with a hectic schedule, he'll probably play a couple of matches in the Europa and Carabao cups and maybe the odd league game here and there. Unlikely to ever be a 1st choice CM. Winks and Sissoko will probably be ahead of him in the pecking order again, ffs. We simply can't afford to have a £60m signing sitting on the bench - we're not City or Chelsea.

Sell and get a midfielder in who Jose actually wants. Sorry ☹

Disclaimer: hopefully I'm talking rubbish, as usual, and he'll get over his injury, return to training, knuckle down, get fit and have a brilliant season. But let's be honest, at this point how likely is that?

Well fingers crossed that he either turns it around like Son did who also wanted out or we manage to do some decent business with Inter. Luckily we have a lot of games stacked up due to the league cup/Europa and we can see where we stand on him and a few others before the October deadline.

He also said he won't leave

Well we don't want an unhappy player.

This is all up to the player now. He has to have the right attitude if he wants to turn this round.

He might want out, but the question is if we don't get a suitable offer is he going to turn it around and have the right attitude to allow him to do just that...

I really hope he does as he looked super talented but there is definitely some question marks over his attitude, or those in his inner circle.

Disappointing that he allegedly wants out and I guess unprepared to fight for his place.

I wonder what the other players must think of him.
