MANCHESTER UNITED look to have missed out on signing Arkadiusz Milik after Napoli agreed to sell him to Roma.
Reports claim the Polish striker's move to the Italian capital is almost complete.

Under the proposed terms, Roma will pay just £14million for Milik.
They will also send Cengiz Under to Napoli in exchange for the hotshot striker, according to Corriere dello Sport.

Messi wants to play in Manchester City. He treats Barcelona's exit as something that hurts in the soul, but the end of a cycle.

God help us all.

As much as I'd dread our two games against them even more than I usually do, just the idea of Messi coming in from the right in that team is a mouth-watering prospect. You can't mark both de Bruyne and Messi out of a match at the same time, it'll be carnage.

Deal probably worth 170m+ for a 33 yr old as well as savings of at least 200k p/w on wages. Would almost make sense for Barca to accept purely on financial terms. If Messi really wants to go, regardless of presidential changes then probably makes sense on footballing grounds too

That's all set up for Barca to offer us Riyad Mahrez, Gabriel Jesus and €25m for Harry Kane in a few years.

Levy is playing chess while City and Barca are playing checkers :cautious:

But they haven't as this lad cannot defend to save his life. He doesn't even have a defensive bone in his body and that is not coming from me but several Leicester fans I'm related to and live near.

If he signed for Jose or a Klopp then maybe I could see him improving that part of his game. But it's Lampard and he has not got a clue how to set a defence up.

I'm shocked by his price and how highly he is rated by chairmans and clubs around Europe. I've seen him multiple times, and he is distinctly average. He has pace but isn't rapid, like you said, he is poor defensively. He's young and he's English so he must be worth 10000000000 mil. It's crazy.

He's too overrated for me. Almost like Drinkwater, when they thought signing a slightly above average player to their club may magically make them even better.

If he was that good City would have bought him. Pep has clearly been tracking him for the last two seasons, there must be a reason they decided against going in for him.

He’s not as bad as is made out - I always watch Leicester because I hate them after their title winning season. He’s no less solid defensively than Ben Davies, and he's better going forward.

We’ll see in a few months when he’s doing either well or wank there, I guess.

My 90 year old granny is better going forward than Ben Davies. And she uses a walking stick
