Let's All Laugh At... Let's all wonder what's going on at United?

So, just to be clear on his alleged version of events, as I understand it, based on his interview this evening and what was apparently said in court: he's claiming that
  • he had a few drinks but was "in control"
  • when some unidentified Albanian men injected his sister with an unknown substance
  • as evidenced by her eyes rolling back in her head and having some sort of fit and possibly fainting, and marks on her arm
  • and then he and his friends and unwell sister were on his bus
  • and he thought his bus was being taken to a hospital, but it turned out to be a police station but he didn't realise that
  • and he and one of his friends were thrown off his bus by what turned out to be a group of plain-clothes police officers
  • who didn't identify themselves but who got rough and aggressive with the girls
  • and he and his friend went to get help, and managed to call at least his agent
  • and then they went back to the bus, where the rest of his group and sister were
  • and then he was accosted by the officers who kicked his legs a lot and handcuffed him on one hand and told him his career was over
  • and he feared he was being abducted and feared for his life and tried to run away while one hand was cuffed
  • but got caught somehow and was taken to prison
  • where he didn't hit the police or attempt to bribe the police
  • but despite all that he loves Greece and doesn't regret going to Mykonos but definitely won't be apologising as he's done nothing wrong
A dramatically different account to that of the prosecution in every sense of the word.

As I understand it. I could have missed a detail or two. Related without judgment. Don't @ me.

This sounds like a load of crap, the kind of stuff a kid makes up when they’ve been caught being naughty in school.

As I’ve said before in this thread I think this is seriously dodgy and Maguire could be the victim here.
I mean, that would mean that a group of police officers went rogue and decided to beat up and imprison Maguire for no apparent gain whatsoever. What would they possibly have to gain from such a situation?

Yeah no. Even as a joke can we really not make the 'would you drug her?' kinda jokes?
Like that's some rape-y kinda comments. Be better.

This.

Some of you in here should be ashamed. There's a line with "banter" and I'd say a few of you have crossed it with some of the comments above. If you think that applies to you, clean them up yourselves before we have to go through them all and take action.

Hard to get a read on Maguire. He's nervous and stuttering unless he's acting all the way through it.

Footballers do tend to think they are above the law, and with the story changing a few times it could well be credible

Why would anyone want to take their vacation in Dubai in the summer? Balmy destinations all over Europe, and you choose a freaking furnace?

No flexing, but have you stayed at a 5* hotel in dubai? Theres a reason why so many love it and you wouldnt even bother leaving the hotel.

It doesn't matter what you think about United as a team or Rashford as a player, but you have to admit he is a bit of a hero off the pitch. I love to see footballers use their status for good.

Hopefully Rashford can be a good role model and show the likes of i.e. that **** at Liverpool, Harvey Elliot, that being humble and respectful is the way to go. Let the feet do the talking and not be a bully. Young football players nowadays seems to be more into showing off rather than contributing to society and helping out. They look like muppets with Gucci all over and flashy jewelry

It’s the matching shorts that make it quite possibly the most vulgar kit I have ever seen in 40 years, dread to think what the socks look like!
