Regardless, it’s insane. Arsenal trying to bid with their payment plan. Surely we can win that bidding war. Just have to actually move. If this guy is available for 30-35-40M just make it happen. Not sure why we make it so difficult.

I wouldnt worry about scum, they have money issues and no way they would get in Eduoard unless they offloaded ' Laccasative ' .... Also they have that young brazilian kid martinelley(sp) who was proper decent for them last season, also that nektiah bloke coupled with Auba and Pepe. I just dont see scummers being an issue

Imagine being a 'smaller league' team like Celtic, signing an inexperience prospect for £9m or so (where that's a lot of wedge to risk), having him score 49 league goals in 84 games, then Arsenal come along and say "PSST.....Fancy making 50p profit?"

I’d love boadu. Thing is, he’s only 19 and for his sake, I think he should probably stay and develop for at least another season with stengs, koopmeiners, wijndal, etc. at AZ. He needs game time, so him moving here would seem a bit odd, but Jose did say that any striker brought in would have the chance to play with Kane, and boadu is a seriously impressive player.

30-40m is a lot to pay for the position he will fill, also considering buying from the Scottish league is a gamble. He does look good mind. We are likely to want to break as close to even as possible, our model is based on having a substantial match day revenue, more so than other rivals. We are probably financially okay for now, but this isn't the window to spend big, as the future is very unpredictable.
The other thing is what is his pathway into becoming a first team regular? Will he be happy with that? Would he agree to it.
Again, I would be happy with a deal for Edouard to Spurs, but from his perspective I don't see why he'd come. I would also be shocked if we spent 30m on any player, yet alone one not set to start most games.
