I hate to say it but I am now on the "Sell Sanchez" train. I was fully supportive of him coming into this season but today was the end of it. He is such a disappointment and it's been going on too long.

I think it’s got to the point now where it’s taken too long for him to learn not to rush in to challenges and get drawn to the ball and actually read the game and realise 90% of the time possession is turned over it’s through an interception or forcing a poor pass rather than a tackle. You get told that as a kid ffs, he’s 24 now, there’s no excuse for it

We're going to need to drop a non-HG player if we want to include Rodon in the Europa League squad. Sanchez is the most deserving of being dropped IMO.

Doesn't bring any confidence to the back line, problem is he's the quickest out of all our defender by far.

I don't even think Skriniar is the answerz we need someone with pace at the back.

Really starting to worry about him, I’m not expert on defending but he just doesn’t ever fill me with confidence like a Toby does or Jan or leadley or Dawson or gallas did, even with dier I feel fairly relaxed but Davidson just seems so nervy and positionally he keeps getting caught out. Really want him to do well but he’s not improving :(

Third best of the CBs. Hasn't progressed at all from the day we bought him and not at all what we had hoped he was for 42million.

He defends like a 12 year old who is the fastest kid on the pitch. Positionally he is inept. Can't pass a ball further then 10 yards. His heading technique is worse then Anthony Gardener's and only has ever looked assured when he has a player next to him who can talk him through a game for 90 mins.

So you're saying there's a chance? ?

I agree.

It was obviously Davies' error for the goal, but when Davies turned back with the ball, he saw he had that back pass on for Sanchez but hesitated 'cause Sanchez had an attacker a few yards off running toward him. If it had been Toby to receive the back pass, don't think Davies would have hesitated.

Been saying it now for over 12 months and had plenty of people disagree with me, but this guy isnt good enough. Poor v opposition of that level. Says it all.

I think its telling that two of Poch's favourites are now showing just how poor they are.

We seem to be missing a defender of a certain defender

Aurier could do with sitting in for the retake of that lesson as well as I think he was off that day :ROFLMAO:

Alongside Winks, I think he’s one of the more obviously-upgradable first team regulars we have. I’ve no doubt Jose sees that too.

Wouldn’t be surprised or disappointed to see either of them replaced in January.

The case for cashing in on Dele, and putting that money toward upgrading Winks and Sanchez keeps getting stronger.

so Davies gifts them the winner and Sanchez makes a goal saving tackle on the errant backpass and he's the defender who gets slated? I should learn to not come here after a loss.
