I just don’t care anymore. We haven’t even kicked off yet, I should be getting excited for the game, but I just took one look at the starting 11 and instead of being annoyed or disappointed, I just have an overwhelming sense of who even gives a fuck?
And that’s what’s so sad about it, we have one of the best strikers I have ever seen and it’s got to the point where almost all the fans seem to feel like this. The cowardly defensive football has been shocking. I obviously mind loosing but I’d rather loose games having a go, putting the other team under pressure and attacking. Than the utterly cowardly stuff that’s been servered up this season. The fact that Sissoko gets picked, an utterly dire footballer that has been stealing a living at Spurs for far too long.

I dont think it’s a bad lineup. I actually like 5-3-2 or 3-5-2, however it pans out. Some teams play it excellently, and with our players it suits us as much a 4-3-3... The problem is the motivation and instructions being given within that formation. I think we could play any formation at the moment and we’d look lost.

I prefer to try this system then to carry on with what we've started recently. I think the last time we played with wing backs we had Davies and Tanganga as the wing backs which completely defeats the object of playing with wing backs. Atleast we have genuine pace there tonight. Toby back in the starting line up is a plus too..

Say what you like about Sissoko but we've done alot better with Sissoko and Hojberg as the holding 2 than Hojberg and TN. Iactually think most of TN's best performances have been in the number 10 role.

We'll see, but i'm much more optimistic after seeing the line up than I was earlier today. COYS

Crap form. Ridiculously defensive team. Away from home. Playing an unfamiliar formation. Can't keep a clean sheet. Individual errors in every game costing us goals. Only 3 attacking players and 2 of them are out of form. Disharmony at the club. Jose being a tool in his press conferences. Out of the race for top 4.

I think we will win this.

(although I voted that we'd lose in the poll)

First of all, does anyone think this is a good line-up that we should play regularly? I mean it is dogshit negative isn't it and plays to our weaknesses rather than our strengths.

So if we win this game, we're pretty much guaranteed to get more of the same. And it could work one off but it will fall apart eventually and be fucking diabolically eye-bleedingly boring to watch across the next month or so.

So is it even in our interest for it to win as we're effectively fucked in terms of qualification anyway? I guess Europa qualification does matter but it's the first time I've ever even entertained the notion of not wanting it to work.

Look lads, in horse racing you can have brilliant and losing rides and also really shitty winning rides....

If we win tonight Jose and his team selection is gonna be the equivalent of what Tom Queally did on Frankel the day he almost got him beat at Ascot by Zoffany.

Definitely dropping in here at about 9.40 this evening to experience the levels of despair and scrotum wringing when Everton score the winner. I’ve already got my gonads nestling on the couch in anticipation for it

Decent enough lineup given that we can't defend in a two. Sissoko never fills me with confidence, especially if we are going to try to make passing options for the back three. In this instance Tanguy and Hojberg would be better imo as we could put GLC, Dele or Moura in behind the top two.

I wouldn’t give a fuck about the result but just remembered Arsenal are breathing down our necks.

Ok my hissy fit aside, a calmer point is that this whole game resides in the ability and confidence of Aurier and Reguilon. I've never really understood why we'd build a game plan around a player like Aurier.
