Not sure what you expect him to do. West Ham had 3 defenders round him constantly because our ball movement was so ponderous and predictable.
Never understand where this Nuno is a nice guy thing comes from? He is outright rude to the reporters who ask pretty standard questions to him
Mason was useless. Get him and you get Winks. If Nuno goes we need someone with fresh ideas. Not much out there to be honest.Would rather Mason given the reigns at least until Jan if not the rest of the season, surely couldn't do worse than this.....
No. This is entirely on Nuno. He sacrificed Thursday to prepare for this game. The players had absolutely no idea what to do when they got the ball. It was embarrassing.
Just saying some people were happy with him not that we had a decision on the matterWe didn’t get to choose
Because it did.And people said it made sense to do so.
The game cant go ether way if its 0.0 at ht and you dont have a shot in the 2nd half.Game could have gone either way.
He once single-handedly rescued 17 kittens from an erupting volcano.Never understand where this Nuno is a nice guy thing comes from? He is outright rude to the reporters who ask pretty standard questions to him
The Nuno apologists are starting to make David Icke look like Steve DavisNo. This is entirely on Nuno. He sacrificed Thursday to prepare for this game. The players had absolutely no idea what to do when they got the ball. It was embarrassing.
~Totally agree, Lo Celco would have been way more suited for that role todayAny manager that allows Moura to play as the #10 and picking the ball up from the CMs, should be sacked on the spot for gross incompetence.
Every single time we had the ball in West Ham’s half, we looked lost. It’s quite clear that Nuno has coached our defence and holding midfielders but the likes of Kane, Son and Ndombele are improvising every time we have an attack. There’s no clear plan whatsoever and that falls on Nuno’s head. You mean to tell me adult footballers need to be told how to pass and shoot..?
I will excuse Paratici for nowLevy, Paratici and Nuno. All three of them deserve to lose their jobs and they would do if we weren’t owned by a fat old **** who wants to squeeze every penny out of us.
True, and it probably should have been 0-0 to be honest. However, we should have built on the first half and really taken it to them but we just sat back. I thought we looked solid defensively through the middle and our creative players collectively were poor; if they had clicked we would have won the game. Simple. This is a classic SC post - "Manager should be sacked" AND "Players aren't good enough!"
So, is this down to Nuno? Or the players? What should Nuno have done differently here? The players who started gave us our best chance at scoring - why make changes, just for the sake of making changes?
The reality is West Ham have a good squad, they played at home, and eked out a 1-0 victory. Shit happens.
