Skipp and Romero can hold their heads high. Skipp just edges it for my MOTM vote.

Lloris, Dier and Højbjerg did alright. Hugo made one or two excellent saves.

The rest, and second half in particular, were absolutely shite.

And Kane was the worst of the lot.

Skipp or Romero. Dier, Hojbjerg, Lloris all pretty good as well. Lucas, Ndombele ok. Emerson not involved, Reguilon too involved. Son not great but at least ran. Kane 10x worse.

Romero MOTM by a mile, probably wishing he hadn’t joined this shower of shit.

Skipp and PEH worked hard, Dier did ok.

Full backs very average, as were all other attacking players.

But no subs until 83rd minute also poor as was our lack of an attacking plan.

Rather not....

I thought Dier, Romero, Skipp and Hojbjerg did well. One of those motm

Fullbacks offered little, forwards offered even less....

Passing was awful today from everyone. (We did have a few good forward passes)

Romero? Antonio bullied him

Boring, devoid of any creativity or urgency, and no clear and obvious tactics or game plan from Nuno.

Romero got my MOM as he appeared to be the only player displaying any sort of passion today.

Ndombele did well and should have stayed on.

Hugo made some key saves.

Son and Lucas were busy but with fuck all work product.

The rest were just making up the numbers.

Kane shouldn’t be on the pitch, clearly isn’t interested but doesn’t help that he’s playing so deep and getting no service.

Nuno…what’s the plan????

So disappointing against a team like West Ham who we always know up their game against us.

Lloris, Dier, Pierre and Skipp were fine. Romero was very good in parts and sloppy in others.

Emerson Royal is such a strange player. Is he really any better then Serge?

Reggie is erratic and for me I don't get the hype about him.

As for the front three they were very poor. Tanguy tried to get going but I think the lack of movement from the three in front of him was an issue.

It was a very meh performance and the lack of ideas from the bench was as expected.

Reguilon 3/10

Getting more and more convinced that he's at best a midtable La Liga fullback - Aaron Cresswell looked twice the player today.

Plus, the Gil/Sergio Sub is just.... meh
Absolute joke. How Royal stayed on when he offers absolutely nothing going forward is beyond me. It didn’t come off for Reggie today but at least he was trying to get us on the front foot. Royal is so pedestrian and predictable.

Players:
Lloris - 6 - committed an early mistake with a punch but recovered well and made good saves. I also though he came off his line well. I don't think he could do much on their goal.

Reguilon - 4 - got forward very well in the first half and then slowly disappeared in the second. Saved us with a strong interception only to lose the ball right afterwards. His decision making and crossing needs a lot of improvement.

Romero - 6 - he had a few individual battles with Antonio and won more than he lost in my opinion. Also carried the ball out of our half well but did misplace some of his passes.

Dier - 7 - our best player on the day for me. He was only beaten for pace once by Antonio when Lloris cleared. Commanded the area well and his one-on-one defending was very impressive.

Royal - 4 - similar to Regulion without the goal mistake. Got into crossing positions but wanted to play the ball centrally rather than actually whip it in. He needs to offer more going forward or we may as well persist with a braver Tangaga.

Hojbjerg - 5 - I don't think he had a good game in all honesty. Was wasteful in possession and misplaced so many passes. It is clear he wants to be more than just a DM and if that is the case he needs to be braver in moving the ball forward.

Skipp - 6 - good game from Skipp. Carried himself well against a strong West Ham midfield. Broke up play and passed out cleverly. He got into a few attacking positions where he could have done better.

Ndombele - 5 - classic Ndombele tbh. Had so much space against Newcastle and he thrived, had no space today and struggled. With his ability in possession he should be doing more against teams that wants to press him.

Moura - 5 - hard working as always and his running at defenders does cause problems. The issue is he thinks he has to do it all himself and rarely gets his head up. Such a frustrating player in all honesty.

Son - 5 - similar to Moura, he worked hard, but he couldn't find the space to exploit and only really got behind the West Ham defence once. He is our star player though - when Son struggles, we struggle.

Kane - 3 - truly a shocking performance from Kane. He isn't doing enough in PL matches. Every other top striker in the League is capable of creating their own opportunities, right now Kane seems to want to wait for a teammate to put something on a plate for him. He gets frustrated and then pops up honestly anywhere on the pitch. Kane shouldn't be marking Antonio, but for some reason he was and he has to be more alert to the ball.

Subs:
Lo Celso, Gil, Bergwijn - all NET

Manager:
Nuno - 4 - It is getting clearer and clearer that Nuno isn't the type of manager we need. He showed he can calm down a crowd with our pragmatic start to the game, however he simply cannot coach a team to attack as seen by our no shots in the second half. Even when we had all the possession, or when West Ham were camped in their half struggling to play out we cannot create chances under this manager.

Poch was also slow to make changes, but Nuno is simply the worst manager I have seen at Spurs when it comes to making substitutions. Three subs all after the 84th minute when Ndombele, Kane, Son and Moura had all faded is appalling management. This is undoubtedly our best starting eleven - however, Nuno doesn't seem to know how to get the best of them when we come up against an organised defence.

Overall:
In all honesty, there wasn't much in the game. We lost it in key moments and more specifically for a lack of creativity in the second half.

Not having Eriksen has never seemed so apparent in that second half, we just cannot create against teams that sit in front of us - a complete contrast against Newcastle who gave us so much space. Nuno is not an attacking manager and that is really shows when we concede the first goal.

I was really impressed with Dier and Romero. They were so good defensively and kept Antonio at bay - which is no easy task considering how he has improved later in his career. I was less impressed with Kane who still doesn't look interested in my opinion. He'll score goals if they are put on a plate for him, but he doesn't seem to be able to create his own against top opposition at the moment.

West Ham probably edged it and on current form are better than we are. However, it was a close game, and if we could create/attack we may have well been worth a point.

????? this is a joke right? He had him in his pocket. Shame he wasn’t marking him from that corner as we might’ve got a point.
Don’t think he was bullied but He was knocked off the ball 3 times. Thought Dier played better today and was my mom

Did he shite… Antonio left him for dead twice in the first half and nearly scored on one of those occasions
