This is a very disappointing result against a decent, well organised, solid West Ham team. I think most of us thought we were going to lose today so I am trying not to be to upset. It is always horrible losing to West ham, especially now as they are on the up and we are on the down. They have improved and we haven't. It Is as simple as that.

I think there are positives to be taken out today's game though. We was not as bad as people are making us out. I think we were the better side for most. West ham started strong , of course they was going to, at home, up for it.. We defended well and when they was on top we didn't let them score. We grew into the game. I thought we kept the ball well at times and actually passed it around which was nice to see. I do think West ham were happy at times to keep their shape and let us have it but we did open them up a couple of times but we always made the wrong final decision. West ham defended very well, kept there shape well and tried to counter.

We should of had a penalty early on, but even VAR didn't give it. He took his foot. Both teams had some chances , but we were the better side at HT. I was quite happy with the performance at HT but knew we had to score and it would come back to bite us.

2nd half, there was no difference really and it was similar to the first. Again some decent moves and kept the ball well but our final decision making let us down. It was a nervy game from both sides at times and you always felt West ham looked dangerous on the counter but for most we defended well and dealt with them. Skipp, Romero , were very good today and dealt with most. It is is always going to be hard against Antiono but for most Romero dealt with him well. And he won some good strong headers/challenges and brought the ball out well. Royal is a bit of a worry and I personally do not think he is any better than Aurier. I actually think Aurier could of done a good job. He was not as bad as some made out, he got forward well and put in decent balls. Regulion is a big worry for me , he is not good enough and I want him to go back..

I have had my doubts about Nuno now from quite early on and I do no think he's up to it. We don't seem like we are going anywhere, no plan b , no reaction, wrong subs at wrong times.. You can't really argue about the side but I think Lucas was very poor today and would of been better of the bench. God we miss, Lamela. How we let him go and kept some of the others is crazy! Lucas done the same thing he always does today, win the ball make a good run and run into a player and give it away.

Kane was poor from the start, he doesn't look the same, just the way he moves doesent seem right. He kept giving it away, running into trouble, I think he made one or two good balls but that's it.

Ndomble was okay today I thought and was one of the better ones , he tried getting forward, should of had pen but again we want more but that's the same with them all.

Son very poor. We see this with him, he's very up and down. When he's good he can be world class when hes bad he is shocking and dont do anything.

Apart from all this , we was unlucky today. West ham done a job , but we didn't get outplayed or anything. We were the better side for most and either team could of scored at times. Losing it was harsh on us but the most worrying thing for me is our decision making . No one to make something happen, we need a Erisken type. We miss Eriksen and Lamela.

I do think Nuno will be gone soon but we was unlucky today and we have to move forward and put this one behind us. It was a game where one goal was going to win it and west ham scored from a set peice.

What is next ?

But why couldn't we break them down? Was it because our players are simply incapable of scoring a goal or was it because there is absolutely no coaching of on the ball patterns and scenarios taking place?

Everyone knows the playing squad needs a rebuild but fucking hell it doesn't mean they can't be coached a little. None of them have any idea or options on the ball. Lucas spent most of the game trying his hand as a centre mid...

People keep saying we need to rebuild. We've been rebuilding for like 3 years, and we've onto our 4th manager since things started going wrong. The team is still built around one player though, so it's no surprise our style of play hasnt improved.

5 years ago we were stride for stride if not slightly in front of Liverpool, look at them now,we are light years behind.
Yep! Used to think we was better. Now very jealous of the team they are. Organised, passion and so much class and excitement. Result of sticking with a world class manager, backing him, getting the recruitment mostly right and blending in youth players in the right way

Unlucky?? You do realise we had Zero yes Zero shots on goal in the second half and less than 10 touches in the West Ham penalty area in the second half?

Levy would be better off selling up so we can get some owners in who can take the club to Trophy Town

Who to, and why is there nobody (far as we know) hovering in the background with a spare £3 billion waiting to pounce?

It's times like these, losing to the pikeys AGAIN and that utter **** Antonio scoring against us AGAIN, I just feel like chucking the whole lot into the bin. I'm not lying when I say when I watch Spurs play, I have to sit further away from the tele than my foot can reach. This is because that's how I broke my ankle many years ago.

A few things bothered me about todays 'performance'. We're so SLOOOOOOW in moving the ball out of defence and of course, we give the opposition all the time they want and need to get ready for us eventually coming forward, and as soon as we do, they can close us down and monster us off the ball.

Midfield, we were all huff and puff with nothing up front. Kane and Son were passengers. Once again I was thinking 'Why the fuck am I watching this'?

Man Utd next week. Oh joy.

As I said West ham are a decent side now and you have to give them credit.. It was hard for us to break them down. They are set up to keep their shape and counter and we dealt with it for most. A set peice they scored from . Both teams come into the game . We had chances and could of scored. We opened them up a few times but our final decision making let us down. We did not deserve to lose this game but it happened. I'm not saying this was our best ever performance, but we was in control in large spells. Oh and we should of had a pen.

Agreed the window has left us short again
Why do we keep buying wide players who are prospects
Should have bought a back up striker and Tomiyasu as well as the others
I was talking about this in anoher thread when I discovered Gill was 40m. We cant blow 40m on a prospect when most of our actual starting 11 arent worth 40m. Bloody daft.
"But he might come good', oh fuck off. 140m spent on Sanchez, Ndombele and Gill. Brilliant.

Not with Nuno. Surprising anyone thought that after Nuno was hired

I didn’t and I doubt many did.
The real long term issue for me is paratici.
He poo pooed the Fonseca deal as soon as he got the job and the original manager list was torn up and at the top of the next one was Gattuso ? followed by Nuno. If we sack Nuno who are we going to end up with? Another 2nd rate safety first manger??
Paratici is not right for us and it’s levy fault for hiring him

Who to, originally RA, more recently the Saudis. During their twenty plus years various people would have been interested. While they are here, they are holding the club back
How about they drop their price to a billion, make 900m profit so we get in owners who will bring us trophies

built around one player we would be ok if there was any idea around it - we are to easy to play against last season under Mourinho there was no forward plan other than hope Kane or Son do something special - I am not sure where Nuno is going there is no risk to our football its so pedestrian save 3 moments in the game we created nothing - moan about Kane but he has no service at all it all happens in front of him

for people old enough get some bodies in the box

Another nothing display again today but I don’t blame nuno , more down to levy and the quality of players in our first team, we must have the worst fullbacks in the league, midfield is shite , sons gone right off the boil, Kane can’t even win a free kick now, oh happy days

Exactly, also the money on Clarke and Sessengnon,
Our recruitment is rubbish oversll, then we let players like Madueke go for next to nothing
