I’m still unsure about the claims he’s ‘slow’.

Seems to have a decent burst of pace and the close control absolutely negates the need for blistering pace. He’s not fully fit yet, but for someone so young finding his feet in EPL, he looks a really good fit.

Very promising player.

It is more upper body strength which prevents his opponents from getting to the ball as he moves past them rather than speed. Almost like Kane.

We have a player here. Kulu only 21yrs old. I hadn’t a clue about him when he arrived but can see why he was voted best young player in Italy the season before last.
He knows what he is doing whereas Lucas usually just sets off and who knows what will happen.
That’s 2 very good signings in January. Just need about 5 more and we’ll be sorted.

If Sarr turns out as useful as Bentan and Kulu, I's be happy with even 3 signings of similar usefulness.

As far as i'm aware, there's an option to buy him for £30m and this becomes an obligation if certain criteria are met. I think this might be CL qualification. Whether there are further criteria such as appearances I have no idea.

If he continues in this form then £30m will seem like a bargain

I'm usually not a fan of a player who is a bit slow and has to constantly check back onto their favoured foot as it makes them predictable. But kulu has shown great quality and an eye for a pass, so hopefully he can build on it.

I'd like to see him at least try and go down the line on his right foot, would make him more difficult to defend against.
