Don’t go soft mate, it’s a slippery slope, call out all the bastards. This isn't aimed at you specifically so please don't take offence, but how do so many people struggle with the difference between "his" and "he's"? At a push I can understand their/there and your/you're, but "his" and "he's" don't even sound the same!
Maybe he doesn't think he is hot stuff, just 'stuff.'This isn't aimed at you specifically so please don't take offence, but how do so many people struggle with the difference between "his" and "he's"? Yeah but he didn't answer my question. And I started this thread, soooooo we are no longer friendsAli gave a shout out to SC today.
He did a QnA and said that this place helped him get to where he is today as a journo
Long QnA but worth a listen
EDIT PART 1
AFTER THE HOUR MARK HE ANSWERS A QUESTION ABOUT BECOMING A FOOTY JOURNO
JUST STARTED PART 2
That's nice of him and it works both ways. He played a big part in making SC as popular is it is today too.Ali gave a shout out to SC today.

They (Football London) are owned by the same company that own the Star, Mirror and the Express. And a host of regional newspapers too. He’s a good lad and you can tell he loves Spurs. He always seems to ask some of the best questions in press conferences whilst still being polite. The only manager who’s skin he really got under was Nunos and we know why that was.
I do wonder how much longer he will be at football London though, I think he’s outgrown it and should look to move onto a proper paper. But then I wonder if he’ll get as much freedom to talk about us as fondly as he does.
I've not listened to the gold and guest podcast yet. Maybe I'll give it a listen. The big Ally Gold dilemma is do you go for the solo YouTube show or the Gold and Guest podcast. Each week both, in essence , have the same content but, for the latter he is discussing Spurs with his co-host Rob Guest, a worn down Evertonian. I tend to switch it up. If I’m taking the dog for a long walk it’s Gold & Guest on the podcast whereas Gold YouTube is when I’m cooking.
Agreed, he’s certainly one of the better journalists at the press conference, along with Jonathan Veil. You can tell he genuinely cares and thinks about what he’s going to ask as oppose to some of the others who seem to ask the same thing every week. Can’t fault Ally, absolutely loves the club and seems like a very decent genuine guy and a good journo, asks good Q’s too at the pressers
Is he the one with the odd voice?Agreed, he’s certainly one of the better journalists at the press conference, along with Jonathan Veil. You can tell he genuinely cares and thinks about what he’s going to ask as oppose to some of the others who seem to ask the same thing every week.
Yes, he does have a very unique sound. Is he the one with the odd voice?
