  • There is nothing to debate. The manager is a loser. The fact that you are sexually attracted to him wont change that.
  • It's embarassing. It's so damn embarassing
  • Pressure will be on from start next season and by Christmas he is gone
  • It’s a giant bottle job mainly by Arteta but also by the players.
  • All summer Sp**s fans will be mocking us and Arteta will know start of next season
  • Still fuming, scrolling through IG to see the picture of Saliba with his award being congratulated underneath by Mbappe, the hottest property in world football
  • The Tetssexuals dont talk about the after Christmas table anymore. I wonder why
  • His fans are some of the most deluded people on this planet. They will suck him off forever
  • How can people still defend this ****?? This is outrageous. The Artetasexuals can piss off and take the prat they want to fvck with them
  • Debate your point then rather than just an empty rant...
  • Arteta is pretty much solely responsible for this debacle. I am not an Arteta out guy but if he was fired for Potter or even Moyes I wouldn’t mind
  • No top player is joining to play for Arteta and the youngsters may not extend or stay
  • So why are we being linked to Gabriel Jesus, Pablo Dybala? Why is Tielemans considering joining despite interest from Real Madrid? Saka and Martinelli will be EPL young player of the year nominees.
  • Arteta was outmanaged all year by Conte, his squad and man management is solely responsible for our missing if Cl
  • Nobody can honestly explain what Arteta does well. His man management is dogsh*t. His team selection is dogsh*t. His tactics are poor and his in game management is Amber Heardsh*t. There is not a single element of management where he isn't below par other than excuse making and waffling to the media where he is best in class.
  • What I saw from the players today was ten times worse than Baku. They looked like they had never played football before.
  • Conte is not an Arsenal manager, we have good taste and class.
  • People dont seem to get this concept. They believe that Conte is some cutting edge manager.
  • Absolute nonsense, Conte is the last thing we need at this club, especially after Wenger.
  • We did the right thing staying away from Conte. We dont need someone to come here and stay for 18 months, load our team with his specific players and then go to the next highest bidder, leaving us in disarray again.
  • The only manager we truly missed out on was Klopp, no one else.

I agree about mocking arsenal for losing last night as they were poor and have given us a great chance. However have us Spurs fans not learnt our lesson? we are called Spursy ffs, so lets not jump the gun and look stupid. I refuse to celebrate until the results are in and hopefully we have achieved CL ? Norwich won't lie down in their last home game as Newcastle didn't last night.

Last four times we’ve played at Carrow Road have ended up W0 D2 L2

Last time we played Norwich with something on the line they knocked us out of the FA Cup

Loss to Newcastle 5-1 on last game of the season when they were already relegated AND down to 10 men imprinted on my brain

Tim “fucking worldy every time I play Spurs’ Krul potentially between the sticks

It ain’t over
Arsenal had beaten Newcastle in 17 out of the last 18 meetings until last night. They were due a win. We’re due a win at Carrow Road.

Cup games are cup games, things happen.

That Newcastle game we were burnt out after the Chelsea game and already on holiday following losing the title. We have something to play for this time.

Fuck Tim Krul. We have Kane and Son.

We also have Antonio fucking Conte. He will not allow these players to think it's already done.

Also, last time we lost to them at carrow Road we had bentaleb and Paulinho in the middle and we were managed by tactics Tim.

That's not to say we shouldn't be wary (conte won't let us be complacent) but it's a silly stat to bring up. (Besides being incorrect as we beat them 3-0 away in 2018 - edit 2016)

Last two times we played at carrow road it was W, D

We’ve lost once there in the premier league in 2014 1-0 and these were the world beaters

I don't think that is right, the last two times we played at Carrow Road was in 19/20 season when we drew 2-2 in the league (with no Son, Dele up front in a two, and Lo Celso and Ndombele in CM) and the cup loss, where we drew in normal time but lost on pens. In that game, we had Skipp and Winks in a CM 2, Bergwijn, Lo Celso and Lucas playing behind Dele, who was playing as a lone striker, so obviously not our full first team and Lloris didn't play in either game, Gazzaniga played in the league and Vorm in the cup.

The last time we played are Carrow Road prior to that was 15/16 when we beat them 3-0. The time prior to that was a 1-0 loss in 13/14, when we had Tim Sherwood as manager.

Edit: Sorry about piling on, didn't see the other posts.

  • Even if Sp*rs have CL we should be able to attract players over them
This really is delusion at its finest. I hate to break it to the author but professional footballers don’t choose clubs based on how much you like them. Quality of competitions, teammates, manager and facilities probably matter a teeny bit more

This is why I can't understand the over the top praise.

By year 3, your 'project' should be starting to come to fruition. In their case, top 4 should be an almost certainty.

If they were sat in 3rd and had taken points off City or Liverpool, I think we could all sit here and honestly say that they have done brilliantly and that they are very much a team well on the up and potentially winning stuff.

However, last season they were flirting with midtable and had some disastrous results and performances. Which is generally the season, you see green shoots and a solid foundation being laid

They then had big backing in the summer. Combine this with green shoots from the previous season. you then start to see real concrete evidence such as have a great season but lose out in a final or be runner up in the league. Basically just fall short (or even win something)

However, this season they've been in a battle for 4th (and spent most of the season there) with

1. Manchester United. A team who many declared champions in waiting but actually had a novice in charge and a squad that quickly fell out with each other and went into crisis. To derail them further an interim coach came in and exposed the problems further until their season turned to waste.

2. West Ham - A team punching above their weight and then became distracted by European endeavours and having a small squad. Something Arsenal couldn't even use as an excuse.

3. Tottenham - A team who spent 10 games with an abysmal coach. losing 5 games in the process. A team who had a half measured summer recruitment. A team with their talisman not being 100% motivated for at least the first 15 games. A team who had A new coach come in and spend the first 3 months getting the team to adapt to his methods. A team who even had 3 bad losses consecutively and almost blew it later.

It's rare for so many teams teams chasing top 4 to have a bit of turmoil or distractions of such.

In 2016/17, United had EL as a distraction but every other team chasing was far from in turmoil.

Which goes to show, how easy they've had it, yet they've still blown it.

The bar was very low this season.

Yet they have supposedly been brilliant and overachieved.

I think the circumstances have allowed people to overplay that thought.

We’ve had the same conversation a few times over the last three years about Arteta. He just doesn’t convince at all and never has. He might get lucky at the weekend and get fourth but if he does then it really will just cover up so many problems there.

I’ve never known a manager so bad at man management at the highest level. Xhaka coming out and saying that the players didn’t follow the manager’s instructions last night just emphasises that. He is so monotone, intense and serious in interviews, has anyone ever seen him crack a joke? Imagine having that every day at training. It would become so sterile and demotivating. We’ve had Mourinho and Conte who are serious individuals but there has been evidence from former players that they are good to get on with away from training. There’s no way Arteta is like that. He just has no personality.

The last time we needed a point to get fourth and champions league football we got it with a draw at home to Everton. So whilst I agree we need to go there 100% focused and win, these players (or those still at the club) have it in there to produce when we need them to in this direct situation.

Also, recent results against them for accuracy.
