I know we’re basically walking coping mechanisms, but as a fanbase can we scale back on the “why do I think Norwich will do us/wouldn’t it be Spursy now…” chat please. I genuinely believe that attitude permeates throughout a football club. A full weeks preparation against the worst side in the league with massive motivation and a forward chasing a golden boot. And an absolute killer of a coach. Let’s get through this week with positivity and finish the job in style on Sunday.
Exactly, well said.

I think we have a good reason to feel good and confident about it. It's not arrogance and it's not setting ourselves up for a fall by believing this coach and team will get the job done.

Arrogance would be saying we will win something when evidence suggests otherwise.

We as a fanbase need to get over this complex of always believing we will mess it up.

The circumstances around this game versus Norwich need to be taken as they are (Conte, strong relaxed position, etc) and people need to adjust their expectations to that.

I personally believe the players will be relaxed and confident yet focused this week. Which is the ideal mindset.

With the top table in our grasp again, I refuse to believe Conte won't demand total perfection and 100% commitment to win this game.

Lets get the W, and get Sons golden boot.

0-3.

Pre Conte I'd have been worried but I am confident he knows how to prepare the team. If we don't beat the worst team in the league we don't deserve it anyway.

Against Norwich Kane needs to show he is a world class striker. He wants to be on the big stage. He wants to be among the best players... he stepped up for the NLD and against Burnley... he needs to do it again... I expect him to be fired up and deliver. Show the team and club that we belong in the Champions League and that we can count on him.

There was the below on the Telgraph website today. I thought for the last couple of years they have had a number of games on the shitty channels like Sky Sports Action etc. Anyway I am sure we can find it somewhere to watch ;)

What TV channels are the games on?

All matches are expected to be broadcast across Sky and BT Sport, as they have been for much of the season. Seven matches should be shown on Sky, with the remaining three broadcast by BT - but the exact list has not yet been confirmed.
Depending on which part of the world you're in..... (legit website below, not IPTV/stream related)

This game is a chance for Conte to put an end to all things Spursy, we have had bad spursy moments since Xmas, notably losing to a shit Utd side and that defeat to Brighton, when even a point would have made such a difference. However, we have also shown some serious fight, we were written off for fourth, but then pummeled Arsenal and gritted a result against Burnley and are now hot favourites for CL football. I hope to see an emphatic win and also suspect Arsenal will do well to get a point against Everton, especially if Everton need some pts to guarantee safety, they look shot and Lego head looks lost at the helm.
I think there will be a lot of toxic energy at the emirates. The fans have already given it up and all calling for Arteta’s head. It’ll be a struggle for their young players.

We've been given a gift by Newcastle last night, let's grab it with both hands.

The job ain't done yet, there's no way I'm falling into that trap. One final push, we will have had a week to recover from the Burnley game, we should never accept that just because Norwich are down we can walk onto that pitch and the game is won, we have done that before against so called lesser teams and look what's happened.

Fwiw I don't think the players will go into this game with that attitude, I don't think Conte and the coaching staff would allow it and I think they're determined as a group. We've performed fantastically over the last 3 games to get into this position. One last push, and the fans will back you all the way.

Go onto that pitch and assume the game will be tough and approach it that way, no unnecessary bookings or risks of red cards especially. Hard graft for this game and the season will be done. COYS let's do this !

I hear what you are saying and that could be the case, but we absolutely must assume Arsenal will beat Everton, and we do our job and leave nothing at all to chance.

And Kulu should be back fully fit. We'll be fine.

If we go in front can we leak news to the Emirates that we've gone behind?

9-0 to us. Harry to get 7 of them and Sonny 2 so it's a 1/2 in the Golden Boot

I wouldn't be surprised if there's loads of empty seats there on Sunday either, standard I suppose.
The last two away matches they've played there have been massive tifos and absolutely incredible atmospheres, then they'll go to their last home game of the season and I bet the atmosphere will be dull and/or awful.

Not sure I agree with this.

Ultimately, there is no one more conservative or bearish about Spurs, and calling victory. But we only have to go there and draw. This is PERFECT for how we need to play.

We're at our best when we get our noses in front, and thereafter can play the counter attacking game that suits us. The fact that we only need to draw basically means we go in 1-0 up.

We can go and play EXACTLY as we want. By the way, Conte might also want us to pile on pressure from the start - I have no idea - but only needing a draw is absolutely ideal for us.

This is a team who scores at less than a goal a game, and who concede on average two - surely, surely we've got this....right?

Oh God, I've jinxed it haven't I?
You are not alone in Jinxing :D just listen to all the social media, it is all set up for us to fail so bad on Sunday now, so many spurs fans gloating and bantering it is scary how they all think it is done.

Hopefully Norwich fans really hate us as well so we can complete the set for the season (y)
