Inter winger Perisic set for Tottenham medical
Inter winger Ivan Perisic is set to have a medical at Tottenham on Monday and is expected to join the club on a two-year deal.www.bbc.co.uk
Perisic medical being reported on BBC now, so this seems as good as done.
Great. First piece of the summer puzzle being done is awesome news.
Is it just me or does he often score these thunderbolts with both feet? How consistent is he with his shooting? If he's given the space Reguilon was last season he could be absolutely lethal.Inter winger Perisic set for Tottenham medical

He is probably one of the strongest two footed players in world Football. Is it just me or does he often score these thunderbolts with both feet? How consistent is he with his shooting? If he's given the space Reguilon was last season he could be absolutely lethal.
I guess i'm quite surprised his output is similar to the likes of Lucas etc considering that shot power and two footedness. I know he's a wing back but still. He is probably one of the strongest two footed players in world Football.
Those pillows at spurs lodge would have sealed the deal.
According to Transfermarkt, he has only missed 40 games due to injury in the last decade (i.e. on average 4 games per season). A sprained ankle and a fractured shoulder account for almost half of those missed games. He missed 3 matches in 2021-22 ("muscle fatigue" + his current minor knee sprain).Does he have any injury history or is he a player who is lucky in that regard?
As you pointed out, one is playing as a winger and the other as a wing-back. Another difference is that Moura is often brought on when we're chasing a goal, so I'd expect his goal contributions per minute to be higher than if he was starting most games (Perisic gets more contributions per game, but fewer per minute).I guess i'm quite surprised his output is similar to the likes of Lucas etc considering that shot power and two footedness. I know he's a wing back but still.
In his last season as a winger (while on loan at Bayern), he got a goal / assist every 97.5 minutes, which is significantly better than Moura's most prolific season.I did notice earlier in his career when he played LW that his contributions seem to be a lot higher.
So Conte is already back in London?
FWIW, Perisic's goal contributions from LWB are very similiar to Trent Alexander-Arnold's (who everyone raves about for getting so many assists).I guess i'm quite surprised his output is similar to the likes of Lucas etc considering that shot power and two footedness. I know he's a wing back but still.

Di marzio is the one close to Fab and conte isn’t he? Also called the medical on Monday before anyone I thinkJust shows Romano not got his finger as close to the pulse as people think.
