Well, he gave in to our demands for a 352 and it's royally backfired tonight. I don't know how much of it is the system and how much of it is the players leaving their brains in London. A big part of me thinks it's the players, however being wedded to this back three is infuriating.

One year in the job, lots of positives, but we've not even been in the game in our 3 biggest tests this season. That's a huge worry. We look so far off it in these games it's more a case of if not when we'll concede and hope that we conjure something up

Tonight's been the first night that I've thought that those oppo fans saying that our football 'isn't sustainable ' are actually bang right.
Arsenal lost at Old Trafford but compare the two performances. My goodness.

I'm completely in the conte in camp and I will stand by him.
But I'm also in the 'oh it'll click soon' but it doesn't seem like it's going too although I really hope it does.
I can't get over how bad we were tonight, for most of the season too infact.

Conte biggest problem is playing 5 at the back which means we either have 2 attackers in 532 or 3 attackers in 523. To make that work we have to win the ball back quickly and get the forward quickly. The challenge with that is our CMs are sitting marginally ahead of the the defence so it's a long ball.
He needs to go to 4 at the back and use the midfield and attack to press and win the ball back quicker.

It's not just opposition fans. I said the same thing in this very same thread after the match against Marseille, and apparently everyone here found that statement hilarious. I would love saying I'm the one who's laughing now, but I'm not, I'm just feeling pissed and disappointed.
