Sanchez looks lost the more he plays. There must be a kid in the reserves who offers more

Diabolical that man is still taking a wage off our football club… and still being played.

he sums up everything that is rotten with this club

sure hes a nice bloke, but football wise
He looked like he was gonna cry when the camera was on him after he had fallen over his own feet. Shows he’s still a boy.

I know the current fad is to try and squeeze Royal and Porro into the side by playing Royal RCB but Royal's playing out of his skin in his current role. I wouldn't mess with that tbh
Especially given what we saw of Porro tonight. Cant say I was impressed but its early days.

@mpickard2087 sorry, mate. That probably came across as a little dismissive. It didn't mean to be, my answer was more of a 'throw hands up in the air with bewilderment' at the state of things rather than your response.

It may have been the same, you're probably right, something wrong with the approach and mentality of these players. But I do think Kane would have taken a shot in the areas we got the ball and failed to do something with it.

Probably overly optimistic but I think that's all it would have taken tonight cause I thought Sheff Utd were poor.

I'm not going to get into an enic out argument.

Fundamentally I'm just really fucked off with this club. I've given more than enough time, money and effort into it.

The only reason I haven't stopped is due to fomo. That's fading quickly.

Agree with all of that, but remember the targets Levy sets for Managers are solely about Top 4.

The board doesn't give a damn about Cups, and all our managers have prioritised accordingly.

Tonight was a massive game, and the players didn't seem to have a clue. 32 years since our last FA Cup.

On the morning of a PL or CL game are we putting out a Club announcement about Go Karting?

Not a chance. That says it all.

I couldn't give a damn about CL anymore. We're never going to win it and we'll end up resting players in the knock outs just to prioritise qualifying for it again.

All to collect our Group stage money and get knocked out of all the cups all over again.

What's the point?

I'm very annoyed at that team selection, but the bigger picture is we'll never get anywhere with Levy in charge.

Never.
No Levy defence from me mate, trust me, but I'm just not letting management and the team off that easily for that performance.

I'm pretty sure his Team Talk wasn't - Lads, I don't get a bonus for winning this one, so feel free to phone it in and not give a shit :)
I'm also leaning towards no-one is telling Conte which players to pick, for which games, he'd be gone in a shot.

I live in hope.

I don't even give a shit about the banter nonsense.

I've done this for over 20 years, and there's a good chance that my dad will die before I can have one day with him where its a memory. 1 day, 90 minutes with a moment.

Yes, I'll have some games but one time where we see us lift something would be nice.
I'm in the same boat. My Dad is heading towards 80 and we really thought this could be our year. And it could have been. But we fucked it AGAIN. I dont know if its incompetance, arrogance or prioritising the league but any of those are unacceptable.
I don't think we'll ever see Spurs lift a trophy with Levy at the wheel.

Who would have thought that losing to the bottom team in the League’s Reserve side wouldn’t necessarily be the most embarrassing cup exit of the season

He should have been pushing for a move 3 years ago. No sympathy at all. In fact, the fact that he hasn't speaks volumes. Seriously wtf is he still doing here? Anyone?

@TonyK

Explain why you disagree. Do the people who work day in, day out not responsible for mentality?

Or is this because you are so anti levy, that you can't actually use any sense of subjective thinking.
I disagree Chas because the best manager in the world will win fuck all if he has a squad full of shite players to pick a team from. Sanchez, Dier and Davies have been shite under Poch, Jose, Nuno and now Conte yet they are still here stinking the whole fucking place out. They needed to be upgraded years ago. And that goes for Hugo too.

How many managers have had any success under Levy? None at all. So why the hell do you expect things to be any different for Conte??

It’s up to Levy to provide the resources for his manager to build a squad capable of challenging for honours. And Levy has failed to do this for any of his managers in his 23 miserable fucking years of ownership.

No manager on the planet will get a tune out of this squad and that has already been proven beyond any reasonable doubt. And that Chas is all down to Daniel Levy.

But hey, we are getting a new go-kart track under the south stand. Woo-pee-fucking-do!!!!

Earning big bucks, living in London and clearly no fear of being dropped from the match day squads or actually being told he has no future. soft touches.

I do wonder if Spurs managers are not financially incentivized for domestic cups? Hence the total not giving a fuckness re them.

Earlier in week i picked an 11 for this game.

Forster

Romero Dier Lenglet

Porro Sarr Skipp Perisic

Danjuma Richy Son

and then later on it occurred to me what happened at boro last season and with the the teams that went though night before, I realised this game should have been priority over wolves. Maybe our priority for the season.

To make 8 positional changes is complete ignorance and complacency.

You maybe make changes at wing back and bring son in but thats it.

You keep the back 3 and keeper on the clean sheet run, Skipp playing superbly and your best player and captain up top.

Sheer madness from Conte, Stellini.

But that stems from years now of this club being far too concerned with the top 4 and the payday of it. Its meant we've humiliated ourselves in the cup comps.

And that wont change under Levy and Poch next season.

Disgusting.

We’re not going to win the CL.

Gettinh ‘the holy grail’ of Top 4 isn’t going to allow us to spend the money to win the League.

why the fuck isn’t the FA cup deemed a priority by the Club?

I just want to win a trophy and play some football that is actually enjoyable to watch.

Well remember when that cup winning machine got sacked 7 days before the final because he wanted to play the reserves for the midweek game against Saints but Lord Levy wanted to try to get top4?

We won cups under shit football with Graham and Ramos.

The hierarchy are concerned with top 4 and financial benefit of that.

The fans are obsessed with pretty football.

In a perfect world we could get both, but both need to change their ways.

The game is about glory is the motto, not lets have 20% more possession.

I can’t believe we screwed up like that. frankly it was a catalogue of failings. That team should have been good enough with a £60 million striker and the top scorer from last season starting.

but they failed to perform. And they failed to perform because we haven’t rotated enough and because we’ve made bad transfer decisions. Has any player we’ve signed since the summer actually improved the team?

Doesnt really help when only Perisic has been given a decent run of games.

Players like Son, and Hojbjerg at times, even though im a fan, have had more minutes than deserved in the season.
