Yup fully expect this to happen unless United decide to skip the Kane-chase drama and go full steam ahead with Osimhen instead, in which case Kane won't have very many, if any, realistic suitors this summer.
Bayern, Real, Chelsea, both Milan clubs (if they have the money) need a striker. I think he'll have interest if he states a desire to leave. If Conte goes Kane will have a big decision to make.

I'm not sure about that. Even Tim Sherwood guided us to sixth. Although the big six will soon become the big seven, including Newcastle.

I can't see anyone outside those teams challenging consistently. Look at the teams just outside it at the moment: Fulham, Brighton, Brentford. Some of them are having the best seasons in their history, but they will still probably finish behind us, despite us being a mess.

I'm by no means saying we should hire Mason, but I think the "final nail in the coffin" is an overstatement.
Teams won't consistently challenge, no, but even in the last few years we've finished below Leicester and West Ham.

As we've seen, the better mid table teams can put together some good results and look to achieve a European finish, added to Newcastle only likely to get better it wouldn't be a surprise if we finished outside of Europe at some point.

With Nuno we'd have likely finished outside the top 6, with Mason I'm pretty confident we would be a long way off.

Thats how I read it too. He’s off somewhere else. I can’t believe that Chelsea aren’t priming up Potter replacements

Read few spanish sources have said its Poch, Alonso or Raul to replace Ancelotti end of season. May hold out for that.

Gary Jacob who has been good on us says Poch would be interested
I just can’t see it being anyone else tbh, we tried to get him while he was at psg before conte/Nuno, now it’s even more appealing to levy, he’s free and it can be done quickly.
More importantly he seems to be very interested (unsurprisingly)

Nagelsmann or poch if it came down to it even if poch wouldn't be a good decision.

Nagelsmann would be the dream but I can never see it happening or it working under levy.

Also Ryan Mason, no thank you.

He's gagging for Shearer's record. Zero chance he goes to any club in Europe until he's got that IMO. Also none of those clubs bar Real would ever even come close to the fee we'd ask. Bayern are playing the long game and want to seduce him to come on a free but no way in hell are they shelling out 80-100m to get him a year early.

And I also doubt he'd want to shit on his entire Spurs legacy and become Judas mk2 by going to Chelsea. Even more unlikely considering they probably won't even be in Europe next seson.

What I like about Poch is at least it's not a clean slate for these failing players. I imagine he'll want rid of Sanchez from the get go for example. A new manager might want to work with him first. Same for Winks, Lo Celso and Ndombele.

Didn't he want some of those players out last time out? If I remember correctly he wanted players like Toby, Dier, Dele, Sanchez and maybe even Davies sold at various points and Levy never obliged. The issue again lay above him.

You would hope that Poch would get a bit more swing the 2nd time around with lessons learned from before
