IF and big if. If true then they must be ultra confident he will be cleared of wrongdoing.

If he is found guilty then the club are a complete and utter shambles.

Think we know where i'd place my bets...

What are you on about?

He's still employed by the club, which isn't in Italy last time I looked - he should be working.

You definitely can't count on the club to be so mindful if the allegation of missing out on the loan rule and actually had to release Doherty was true!

For now, you mean for the past 15/18 years? Enjoy them!
I was looking forward. They’ll be a time when they sell so it won’t last forever. But of course it’s also been the way since the beginning of their tenure.

Blanchflower said of football: "The great fallacy is that the game is first and last about winning. It is nothing of the kind. The game is about glory, it is about doing things in style and with a flourish, about going out and beating the lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom

1972, and still correct.
Isn't this a contradiction?

But if he is in charge of our next managerial appointment and is then potentially found guilty..

Thats what im getting at.

Hasn’t Tuchel got an injunction out against his ex-wife for revealing the real reason he was sacked from Chelsea? I’ve heard the rumours (which are most likely to be completely fabricated…), anyone heard anything about it?
Didn't even know there were rumours

Probably because Gallardo isn't on it, but i find that list really uninspiring. Di Zerbi would have to be the pick out of that list. Honestly don't know what Frank and Glasner are doing there.
Frank has done an incredible incredible job at Brentford. Yes the football is direct but they press high and perhaps they feel he would adopt more of a possession based approach with better players.

Please not Ange Postecoglou. It's got Gerrard to villa vibes all over it.
Thomas Frank, flavour of the month. Another mistake waiting to happen.

I guess dear Daniel better tell him to sit at his desk and make himself a cuppa while we await the outcome then..

No because you’ve broken it down into isolated parts of the whole sentence. :)

The quote is and always should be relevant to who we hire as our manager, first and foremost the manager should align with the clubs deep rooted DNA and philosophy of attacking pass and move attractive football.

Jose, Conte, Nuno, AVB etc have all shown that managers who don’t fit with this will seriously struggle to get the crowd on side unless the results are consistently absolutely phenomenal.

Jol, Poch, Redknapp etc all perfect recent examples of slightly different managers but ones who fitted into the mould of what a Spurs manager should be.

Conte will go down a legend. He has spoken every fans and managers would always want to say to the club, management and players all in one presser.
What has he said that hasn’t been said already? This is news to levy? A legend? I get that part of what he said may have mirrored some of what you’re thinking but… He threw the team under a bus. Whoever comes next has a lot to do to repair that. And if we sack him it costs us millions. There were ways to do this, and this wasn’t the right one.

If Paratici was def staying then I would feel a little more open to Enrique. I would have major concerns if we were to go into the summer window without one tho. I still don't think he's the right fit tho.
I do not think that the right fit will go to us...
