I guess dear Daniel better tell him to sit at his desk and make himself a cuppa while we await the outcome then..
Well the verdict is due in a few weeks and we will let him make the biggest decision that needs to be made at the club, with him then potentially having to leave straight after?

Great plan that will be....

Frank has done an incredible incredible job at Brentford. Yes the football is direct but they press high and perhaps they feel he would adopt more of a possession based approach with better players.
I don't disagree he has done an excellent job but he plays long ball football. I dont understand why one would employ a manager with the hope he would change his tactics to be possession when there are plenty of very good ones around who already play it. Would make zero sense. We should go for a manger who currently plays the sort of system we want to play.

Club has just posted romero’s Instagram post on our website, rare that they do that, surely points towards conte going soon because it directly goes against conte’s post match comments.

No because you’ve broken it down into isolated parts of the whole sentence. :)

The quote is and always should be relevant to who we hire as our manager, first and foremost the manager should align with the clubs deep rooted DNA and philosophy of attacking pass and move attractive football.

Jose, Conte, Nuno, AVB etc have all shown that managers who don’t fit with this will seriously struggle to get the crowd on side unless the results are consistently absolutely phenomenal.

Jol, Poch, Redknapp etc all perfect recent examples of slightly different managers but ones who fitted into the mould of what a Spurs manager should be.
Where do you find that type of manager now.

Not sure Frank has the personality to be succesful manager of a top 4/6 club. Just a feeling.
Exactly what the club thought about Ten Hag, unfortunately. Just because his journey hasn’t taken him there yet, doesn’t mean he can’t do it. What is the personality trait (s) you think he doesn’t have? (Not an aggressive question, genuine one)

Conte will go down a legend. He has spoken every fans and managers would always want to say to the club, management and players all in one presser.
So now you don't even need to win games to become a legend. Just throw a couple of cup games and blame the owners.

Seems quite a low bar.

I do think if Tuchel was interested Levy would choose him 100%. I just don't think Tuchel would actually come to us given what has happened with other managers.
He went to Cheatski and look what they have done to previous managers far worse than what we have done to any of ours

It’s amazing that people still do the thing where they tweet that such and such a manager has this record in cups, and always makes finals etc… it literally means nothing at our club.

We currently break managers no matter what their records are, we are literally the asterisk on Jose’s record, we’re an asterisk on Contes. Tuchel could come in with this amazing cup record, and currently we would 100% be the ones that end that for him.

I’d say of the ones we’ve been linked with:
•Postecologlu the Celtic boss is most like Jol, a big friendly but strong character who plays attractive football.

•Poch back would be well… Poch 😂😅

•De Zerbi has Poch vibes, young likeable character, good style of play doing well in the PL already

•Vincent Kompany : great style of play, very well liked motivational guy

•Tuchel? Not sure he would stick around for long enough but he’s quite a likeable upbeat positive person and style of play is high possession and usually quite good

L.Enrique - I’ll be honest I don’t know loads about his personality and he’s not stayed at clubs for long previously but the vibe I get from him is that he’s non offensive in terms of his personality so could end up quite liked if the football we played under him was nice and we slowly build momentum behind him.

Nah - that's open to interpretation as to whether it's going against Conte's comments. I just see it as the club sharing one of their key player's message to fans. I don't think you need to find other angles in that messaging.

Yeah but they have backed their managers and allowed them to be successful and win trophies. Yes they sack managers but only after they have given them everything they need to be successful. We dont back managers and then sack them. Big difference.

I don’t buy this whole ‘we break managers’ thing.

What we do is expose certain types of managers who aren’t a good fit for our club.

We ‘made’ Poch or gave him the platform to take his career to another level, same with Redknapp.

I blame certain managers for not having the foresight to realise they won’t be a good fit for our club just as much as I’d blame the internal set-up on the football side to not allow and enable certain managers to thrive at our club.

Hasn’t Tuchel got an injunction out against his ex-wife for revealing the real reason he was sacked from Chelsea? I’ve heard the rumours (which are most likely to be completely fabricated…), anyone heard anything about it?

The real reason was he never brought Mount to orgasm? That reason ?

Other than Arnesen, I have never seen a DoF being liked at the club YET every time we had one or similar we have reaped rewards from their vision

You can look at it two ways IMO if you are a top table manager

Either "I'll give it a miss, if Conte and Jose can't make it work then it's unworkable".

Or " Everyone knows the Spurs job is a poisoned challis so it's a very well paid free hit".

Personally I think most top managers will swerve us like the plague now, and our best bet would be to look for someone that very much see's us as a step up or a way into the Prem as an opportunity they can't turn down.

Not sure why people are so gee'd up about it possibly being Enrique, a manager who's only ever won anything with a top notch Barca side.

I don't really get the logic of Mason being in charge for a quarter of the season to wait until Summer.

If Poch, Enrique, Tuchel, or even Gallardo are on your list, you go for them now before the sharks start to circle in the Summer surely?

De Zerbi, Glasner, Frank, Amorim, and Ange all could become availabe in the Summer but to me, one of those four surely fits some sort of what your trying to achieve?
