I’m getting Colin Robinson vibes from him….

He is perfect for both Tottenham and SC in that case.

Mainly on Twitter but oh my fucking God some people are actually obsessed with Daniel Levy it’s really not normal.

Such vitriol! Completely oblivious that you’re actually hurting any helpful mature conversation about real change at the club by being so moronic and combative

Go and have sex or smoke a spliff or something.

If Levy sold the club and we still didn’t win it would be approx 0.003 seconds before they would start with “Typical Levy sold us to someone shit”

I think as a general rule of thumb. If you’re an adult and have photoshopped a clown face on a grown man and made it your profile pic you need your hard drive checking
Re the point about what happens post Levy. Who he sells to is going to be one of the most important parts of his legacy. He's made a huge point of saying he's a custodian so people would be well within their rights to be upset if he sells to the wrong person and results suffer

wonder if he'll be doing the same for us, and taking over all football responsibilities from Levy?

Here's hoping....

I would be gutted if we sold at all, and especially to the wrong buyer of which there are undoubtably many. I would hope that it's something that he takes seriously, and I think that he would, personally.

Honestly, anyone that can afford to buy us will probably be the wrong buyer, because they will in all likelihood be bent to high heaven to even have the money to afford to do so. Nobody who can afford buy us will be doing so with the interest of the club at heart, and any success we might try to seek will only again be a coincidence of some other goal, geopolitical or otherwise.

On some people's right to be upset though, he's been repeatedly called a parasite, not only here but elsewhere, among many other things, by a large subsection of our support, and blamed for presiding over a broken mess of a club on the brink of destruction (which to some we apparently are). For those wishing the worst on the bloke and for him to just disappear yesterday, I don't think that you then get to be too picky over how he does that and whom it moves to.

If he sold it to Donald Trump I’d agree. You would know going in he was a nob whose word cannot be trusted.

Levy could do all the right due diligence, and if you’re not biased you would agree he would. The prospective owner could say all the right things and have financing out the wazoo. It’s their responsibility if selected to actually deliver on what got them in the door not Levy’s

it's their responsibility but it was also be part of his legacy without a doubt. You can't say you're a custodian and pass the club onto the wrong people, regardless of what they say in meetings

I’m not sure anyone is defending him at this point. The problem is no one sees how it changes.

"Proper football person" is such Brexit vernacular, honestly. A finance background is pretty much a must for anyone running a football club that isn't seeing the pitch, particularly this bloke who is now running the entire footballing operation. That means he's above the DoF. Levy has done exactly what people have asked him to do.

Literally who is defending him? I don't think there's a single person on this site that is anymore.

But I suppose having a more pragmatic reaction apparently is defending Levy now.

Oh right, its as easy as getting a manager who says we "should be winning". If we're spinning Chelsea hiring the bloke who almost got Everton relegated as a show of ambition then I just don't know anymore.

The first guy's comment is a good example of how fan's ability to affect change is diluted. It takes all of 30 seconds to do basic research about Munn and see that he does have experience in the game; but this guy will be the first to complain that Levy doesn't know what he's doing. 'kin hell, lads - it's hard enough to be taken seriously as it is. Can we at least try and not come to the fight unprepared?

Munn is a pretty obvious mistake, money on it Levy thought he was getting Mumford and his sons to warm up for Beyonce.
On a serious note anything that pushes Levy away from the football side of things can only be good, but the proof will be in the pudding, Levy will struggle to stay out of it and will likely need his fix.

He has so much experience in sporting adminstration. Not just football but NRL and AFL.

I've no idea if he knows who Gallardo is or if we can play a 4231 but someone of his experience can only help bridge the gap between the board and the footballing side of things.

On the football side though mate?

Its a very scattergun approach to managerial hires and player recruitment IN's and OUT's.

Stadium, Training Ground and building the clubs revenues and then pocketing most of them ;) yes they've done exactly what they planned to do but there is no plan on the football side and they get it wrong over and over again, its reactionary and scattergun.

As I've said before, Brighton lose Potter and straight away in comes De Zerbi, Arsenal don't give in to Mudryk's crazy wage demands and they move straight onto securing Trossard.

We hire the wrong fit managers, sack them before cup finals, put caretakers or former assistant managers in charge and our squad is a complete mess.

I think outside of Everton and to an extent West Ham, we are the worst run club in the PL on the FOOTBALL side, as I said, take away a once in a generation talent in Harry Kane and we'd be mid table at best, at worst we'd be in a relegation battle.

Doom and gloom merchant.so many variables. Look at Liverpool. If other teams play shit then everyone is in same boat.
We are still up there and in mox for top 4 , Limited chances I agree though not impossible.
Last two mangers were not shabby.
