Trouble with that is the players who have been at the club earning high wages are the ones comfortable to stay on those wages. The ones who want to leave are the ones with ambition. It's the wrong core of players to sell. We need to sell the ones who have been coasting along with no desire to achieve things. We need to fight to keep the ones who are looking to move and build around them so they are confident to win things here.Any player who doesn't truly want to be at the club should be allowed to leave, Kane included.
If that means selling him this summer for a good fee of 75m+ then so be it.
Kane jeopardises his legacy if he goes there.
We can definitely try to convince them, but players like Modric who can perform at high levels despite wanting to leave are few and far between.Trouble with that is the players who have been at the club earning high wages are the ones comfortable to stay on those wages. Yup.
Utd is the biggest club in England so although I wouldn't be happy about it, I could just about stomach it if he went there.
If he went to Chelsea he completely ruins his relationship with the fans.
If the choices are lose him this summer for £100m+ or lose him on a free in a year, I'd reluctantly let him go this Summer and take the money. I appreciate everything he has done for us, he's been the greatest player I've ever seen in our colours, but I think if we are going to attempt any sort of rebuild we need to rip off the Harry Kane plaster sooner rather than later.
I don't trust us to reinvest that money wisely in the slightest, but if "life after Kane" has to be a thing we might as well go through it at our lowest ebb and try to rebuild with no expectations.
It's going to be a fucking rough few years regardless of what happens with him.
No chance he goes for £40/£50mil, would take upwards of at least £80mil id say, Hazard went for about £100mil with 1 year left i think. I do think Kane will go this summer though.
Not sure if Chelsea can afford him if get Europe and after all those long-term contracts they’ve already handed out.
Plus they need to meet financial fair play regulations (allegedly).
Still think Levy will up the value, record scorer, England record scorer and captain etc.But he was 2 years younger
Levy would laugh them out of town for that kind of fee. A 30 year old Chris Wood with 6 months left on his contract went for 25m - Kane's 10 times the player he is.It could come down to how much he’s worth to us for 1 season!?
If he wants to stay in England and only Man U come in for him in the summer and only offer 40/50m will Danny boy accept?
Obviously Levy is hoping there’s a bidding war between 2/3 clubs in which case it’s probably the best scenario for everyone (except us!)
I'm sorry, but in this day and age, do you expect fans to go to games, watch utter shitshows and a Club that has been run into the ground for the last 4 years and fans to just sing oh when the Spurs every 5 minutes? To be fair I think the fans have ruined the relationship with our players already, at a certain point the players probably stop caring when the relationship has no value to them as it's clear how fickle our support is to individuals.
That does seem a bit bizarre doesn't it!!Isn't it if they are not in Europe they can't get done by ffp so they can spend big again although not sure how that makes sense

Personally, I'm tired of managers who think they're above us and players who also think they're too good for us.
I want Harry to stay, but only if he wants to stay. I'm done begging managers to want us, tired of feeling like Harry is too good for us (which he is). This massive inferiority complex we have is the root of all our problems. Mentality goes a long way and it starts from the fans. Sides like Sevilla (Europa League) and Real Madrid (CL) have this feeling or rather a deep rooted club mentality that they'll do well in certain competitions. We have the same thing with failure.
So if Harry has to be convinced to stay, I would rather see him go and start a rebuild with a manager who wants to manage us and players that want to play for us.
So Son must be currently worth 5mn?Transfer market have kanes current value at 80m
It won't be in Jeopardy it will be in tatters.Kane jeopardises his legacy if he goes there.
