I mean this is pretty obvious isn’t it
As reported by Telegraph Sport this week, there is increasing doubts at Spurs over Kane signing a new deal. Kane is believed to be looking at all options, which will include running down his final 12 months at the club where he has played for 10 years and scored 274 goals.
Just reads as sensationalist bullshit riding off of the United fans winding up Tottenham fans yesterday. We didn’t need an ‘exclusive’ or an entire article to tell us that one of Kane’s options is to leave for free. We know that already.
This is why, out of all the rival clubs we deal with, Man Utd fans will, and always shall, be the biggest ****s of the lot to me. I remember them through the 90s and 00s. Plastic, cockney Red's, entitled as fuck. There's no other fan base who would act as up themselves as that.‘I heard it’: Harry Kane’s wooing by United fans adds twist to Spurs drama
The striker is a Manchester United target but insists his focus is on Tottenham and that clearing air with Daniel Levy, the chairman, should help teamwww.theguardian.com
"The real reset had come on Monday morning when Levy summoned the squad’s senior players for a clear-the-air meeting. He had already decided to sack Stellini and replace him with Mason. The talks with Kane, Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg were an attempt to draw a line under the chaos.
“The chairman asked for a meeting,” Kane said. “It was important [for him] to understand where the players’ heads were at. It wasn’t just the Newcastle result. It had been building up since we conceded the two goals against Southampton.
“It was an honest conversation of where everyone is at and what we need to try to do to give us the best possible chance to finish the season with something. We’re still fighting for fourth place but if it’s not fourth we’ll try to finish fifth or sixth. In this league, it’s so competitive you can easily end up eighth or ninth if you’re not careful. That’s what it was – to give us the best chance.”
In Harry’s case, yes. I think the board would rather keep him until the end of his contract if we don’t get the asking fee. He cost us nothing after all.So you can see levy letting him go for nothing in a year? V sell.
I was in the North Upper tier immediately above them last night and yes some of the things they were singing were irritating and they do come accross as entitled and arrogant. This is why, out of all the rival clubs we deal with, Man Utd fans will, and always shall, be the biggest ****s of the lot to me. I doubt Kane will be “up for it”.That’s true. Or we could force it by not agreeing to a sale.
Aside for that it’s an interesting dilemma. I’m happy to be forced to keep him for twelve months and he helps us back into the Champions League (5 places from next year) which would offset the loss on transfer fee. This is with the caveat that Kane’s mind if focused and up for it.
I wonder how much of an impact the new baby will have on his thinking this year. Can't imagine Kate being desperate to move away from family and support whilst heavily pregnant or with a new babyI think it comes down to family for him.
Does he want to move his family to Manchester? He was willing to do so a few years ago for City move so I assume the same would apply for Man.U.
If not then either he stays with us or he goes to Chelsea if Poch goes there but I just can’t see that one at all that really would ruin his legacy and no guarantee of trophies it’s Man.U, renew with us or nothing I think.
Don't think you can sign pre contracts for clubs in the same leagueReally can't begrudge him whatever he decides to do although out of any ex player, I'd find it weird to see him play against us. What if he signed a pre contract with Man United? Could we carry on playing him until the end of the season? I assume that he wouldn't do that.
If he doesn’t sign a new contract, he will be gone in a year anyway, with no money to replace him.Would rather have Kane than any amount of money, because no signing could replace the hole in the club he’d leave.
So Son must be currently worth 5mn?
That would make sense.Don't think you can sign pre contracts for clubs in the same league

Liverpool sold forwards like Torres, Suarez and Coutinho for big money and reinvested wisely.
yes, but maybe we can also think of it as an oportunity for a new beginning of sorts, where players are more equal in a system that works with or without «stars»?Would rather have Kane than any amount of money, because no signing could replace the hole in the club he’d leave.
