I'm not denying we're a shambles , we are.

But there's afew posters showing themselves up as having a real lack of knowledge on some of the remaining candidates.

If all you see in Postecoglu is 'some Australian bloke'and Amorim as 'only 4th in portugal' then do some research.

I've been bubbling all day. What an absolute farce.

The new ground will be a financial game changer they said.

Concerts will be a financial game changer they said.

NFL will be a financial game changer they said.

The amount us absolute mugs spend on a matchday will be a financial game changer they said.

And yet here we are, scrabbling round for a manager with no fucking plan at all.

I'm renewing fuck all and this banter club that we've become is getting no more of my money.
it just seems that’s there is no cohesion at the club and we are just stumbling along. The manager search should be relatively simple if you have a strategy and long term plan with a succession plan in place

I cancelled my direct debit today for my membership. I know I’ll lose all my loyalty points but I ain’t giving this club any more money until they offer some value for it. I’ve told my boy he ain’t getting the kit next season which will be the first time since he was born.

More media chucking out names hoping to be right. We can only sit tight now and hope they aren’t as useless as we all think they are inside the club.

Don’t know if it’s because I’ve been excited by 3 managers now ( poch, JN & Slot ) that it’s put me off but I’m not excited or even vaguely intrigued by anyone else linked now.
I’m completely the same. I have pretty much lost all interest. I know some really like Postecoglou but I just can’t get excited by him. At this point the only one that would get me engaged is Gallardo or if we go back to JN and neither will happen.

Now it just feels like I’m watching a car crash in slow motion.

I really do think we would have won the cup if Jose stayed. City really struggle against us usually and Jose knows mind games, how to frustrate and grind out a result in big matches.

Mourinho had turned on the players. We were never going to win that game anyway.
Amorim's communication is second to none. He really is a master at communicating things and he is adored for it.

Doesn't he play 343? If he does that sets off alarm bells for me. A midfield pivot simply doesn't work in the EPL unless you have 2 absolute monsters in there and at least one backup. We haven't had that since Dembele/Wanyama, which corresponds pretty neatly with our fall off. I'm sick to death of watching our midfield chasing shadows week in, week out.

Different levels but Southampton have pretty much agreed their new manager for next season. In fact every team acts swiftly to appoint their next manager because they have a plan and strategy.

I have no idea who Levy consults when he evidently has no consultants at a board/strategic level, but he is driving the football club into the ground by putting business principles ahead of club vision and strategy.

I could not give a single fuck about NFL, Beyonce, the sky walk or the fucking go kart track. That is not the primary purpose of a football stadium. We haven't even got a fucking stadium name yet because he is probably not putting a realistic value on the stadium. 4 years to still not be sponsored.

Yet there Levy goes getting his fucking wage increases whilst looking like fucking Mr Burns making false promises and delivering fuck all in a football sense.

Don't get me wrong he has delivered a stable business but he has not delivered the thing that we as fans should be looking forward to namely trophies and exciting football. Any other business and he would be out on his ear.

Its just not good enough, yet the club continues to be active on social media doing fucking quizzes, yes or no, celebrations of fucking average players and they think that appeases us as fans. Oh I love a random picture of Oliver Skipp. I really love to hear about the exciting 'trophy' that Harry Kane has won such as scoring the most goals with his cock in one season but someone authorises the media team to continue pumping out this shit. Absolute Cocknut.

Not that I want it to be Amorim but I wonder if his ‘buy out’ is along the lines of the Porro debacle… admin fees and potentially remortgaging the stadium to pay the tax bill

A week left for ST renewals and I have absolutely no idea what I’d be paying for!

……..I’ll absolutely end up paying 😂 But it’s the principle dammit!

I paid for mine yesterday. It’s making me think this shit show is partly my fault for relenting.

The appointment will happen out of the blue now and be utterly underwhelming. I’m not even angry and more, just laugh at us.

From CL finalists and one of the most exciting teams in Europe, to not being able to attract a manager with a decent CV. This is all Levy. Can only hope he realises he must go big and bold now

Nothings certain with Tottenham . What if I was to say he wanted to sell the big boys to recreate the next team and levy said no ! Unfourtanlty if someone wants to come here it doesn’t mean they will always come . Visions have to align . Levy’s seems to have a different vision to every manager out there currently.
Levy wants to win now, with a project manager, with no investment in the club.

I'm shocked he has not found the perfect candidate yet.

As much as I agree with you, it seems like we were always flirting with a few managers.

Sometimes this works, sometimes it bites you in the ass. 20M would be close to a world record fee for a manger and we all saw how that turned out for both Chelsea and Bayern as both were canned less than a year and a half later.

Internally, if there are a few on a level playing field, than so be it. If he's unanimously your guy then obviously I'm in the camp of pay it, but just have a feeling that's not how it played out.

Makes the public ruling out of Nagelsmann a couple of weeks ago even more ridiculous now. That only made sense if they were going to get Slot and knowing he did not have a clause this summer, they should have figured out how much it would take to get him out of Feynoord and negotiated his release first before approaching him. Same story about why we haven't been able to get deals for major players who ended up being a success elsewhere over the line
