I've said it before, but Bremer is a miles better version of Carter-Vickers.

If Ange could transform Carter-Vickers to fit his Celtic team, then I have every confidence he could transform Bremer to fit his Spurs team.

Id personally love him to sign for us. He is a top CB and would mean we have 3 really good options to choose from without a drop off in quality. On paper you wouldnt say Romero would suit Ange's system but he does. Plus Bremer hasnt played in an attacking team so we dont know if he will suit or not suit our system.

CCV didnt either whatsoever. Ange turned him into the most crucial part of that defense & someone who I wouldnt be shocked if he's 1st choice in the US national team soon enough when fit.

Personally I don't see the logic in doing it when there are HG option's available that off the bat suit the system better. Just because Ange has done it once doesn't mean he will be able to do it again or that Bremer will be able to adapt. Its not an exact science. If HG spots weren't at a premium id get it to a degree, but as it is I don't so much. Im not saying Bremer is a bad player btw, i just think non HG spots should be left for those who will slot straight into the the first 11. Fair enough if there aren't any other options but it seems like there are.

Bremer was literally Serie A defender of the year in 2022.

Interesting if we went for him I’d actually be more optimistic of Gallagher happening then given our HG issues.
