I'm excited to see how we fare. To dare is to do.
Same, could get hammered but could also surprise a few and give City a bit of a shock.

And even if we lost at least as a small consolation it would help city close the gap on Arsenal.

I have a small feeling we might pull a performance out against them. They’ve looked vulnerable defensively this season for sure, let in 2 in the CL midweek, let in 4 against Chelsea etc.

I think there will be a lot of goals, we just have to take our chances and hope Haaland has one of his rare quiet / off days which he does have from time to time.

Is there a "I'll take less than a 4 nil pounding" Society?
You're free to set one up obviously
but it's not as easy as it looks
Your membership will be too easily split
(eg the five nil pounding soc. or the six nil....etc.)
Make it more general
and getting members fees is always a problem.

Just fiddling before Rome burns.

I'm sure that we'll expect a meltdown from some if we lose, regardless of the fact that no-one is probably expecting more than us having a go at them. It's a difficult one - the way that we are trying to play keeps the optimism going whilst we are enduring all these injuries- in stark contrast to last season but realistically, going toe to toe with them in the way that Ange sets up means that it could be a painful afternoon in terms of conceding goals but I'd rather see us ship six and go for it than ship two and spend the whole game doing nothing more than keep the score down. It's a massive cliche but it is a process.
I'm fully in this camp. This game could be seen as a write off based on how thread bare we are currently. With a full strength team it's a different story.

I'd rather we just go at them with no fear and just see what can happen. As long as we play our game, make it entertaining even if we lose, that's all I care about, I want us to just put some effort in as we have been all season and wait for the final whistle

Let's try and expose some weaknesses in this city side. To dare is to do.

As President of the 'Take a Draw Now' Society
I would unhesitatingly 'Take a Draw Now'

New members welcome.
Quite frankly I’d take a 3-0 loss right now. I’ve a feeling this is going to be an absolute hammering.

I’m looking forward to Thursday night under the lights at home to West Han if that helps?
I was a bit worried when you mentioned Thursday night but have just checked and Newcastle are away at Everton the same night. Whether it's by chance or design the fixture timing is at least fair on this occasion.

I usually enjoy games when there is little expectation.

I am just looking forward to Ange setting us up to play good football and see how it pans out.

Indeed, Emerson Royal may have a worldie against Haaland.
