3rd incident, yet haaland yellow yesterday was their 2nd yellow for dissent this season. For perspective, we have 9 for dissent (2nd most in league) and Fulham top it with 11. Some teams just don't seem to get punished on the pitch

Are you sure about that? Only the ref knows why he blew and he's not talking. It could easily be because he thought he was offside and brought it back for the foul as there was no advantage. I would like to hear his version and not all the media opinions. Anyway who cares great game great result, fantastic second half from us and in the end we were the one's who were robbed.
He blew for the foul as his hand would have been raised for an indirect free kick if had been for offside.

I dont think anyone is suggesting he blew up for offside?! If he had done that, we'd have got the free kick! The suggestion is he was informed by his assistant he thought it looked offside, so the ref made a split second decision there would be no advantage.

They did tweak things, just not after less than half a season. We are in the infancy of this project.
i have watched so much opinion pieces and analysis videos I forgot who even said it. Could have been Carragher or Souness?

But they said Ange will likely establish the system and way of playing so that it is so deeply ingrained in the player's approach and THEN he will make tweaks.

This was exactly what Klopp did

First two seasons everyone said he needed to be more risk adverse as Liverpool were drawing and throwing away leads. People said they were too open.

Then they stepped it up more with the signings of Van Dijk and Allison but still came up short to beat City.

The following season Klopp altered it slightly. Instead of pressing furiously in the midblock, they would either press from the front or have a 20 minute period or so where they reseved energy and managed the game.

It's not a major tweak and its not a Plan B. It is just a slight alteration to the system that is already in place and you can only do it when it is fully ingrained in the personnel.

If Ange started to tell players "I always day we won't stop but today I want you to be more conservative" I guarantee he would start the first cracks of trust with his players as they would now have mixed messages.

I can’t believe how ‘naive’ Man City were to think they could play that way against Tottenham and Simon Hooper.

West Ham deserve this. We've been absolutely dire second half.

Fifth game in a row we've taken the lead and lost? A record?

Season is a write off. We're finishing 6-8th.

The start we had though. It's the hope that kills you. Always.
