If we play like we did attacking wise against Villa we'll create plenty of chances against city's defence.

But as for the other end of the field, Haaland and what feels like about 10 playmakers when you play city, they will have too much for Emerson & Davies.

Shame though as I think us at full strength against them would've been epic.

Went for the Spurs win. 3 straight losses, everyone injured/suspended, away game at the current treble winners. Got Spurs win written all over.

Excited to see how we fare.

At the very least Bissouma and Sarr should be back. Maybe an outside chance that Bentancur is fit too. We have enough to cause them problems. Clearly not favourites, but stranger things have happened.

They have the 3rd best defence in the league and the best attack so far.

Not entirely sure we'll creat that many chances, especially when we will probably spend large swathes of the game on the back foot.

Still, you wouldn't expect to get any points there before the season even started.

This game is a write off for us really.

Far more important what happens in the West Ham game at home.

Edit: tentative prediction of 3-1 City.

Bentacur, Bissouma and Lo Celso midfield.

Sarr as an option to close it out.

Doku against our defense could be behind the sofa job lol.

2-2 though 😀

If Bissouma and Sarr are both back and fit then as you say stranger things have happened.

Haaland will have a field day against Emerson & Davies but I think we will create a ton of chances against them, just need to actually take them!

If Bentancur was fit I’d feel more confident.

Forster
Emerson Dier Davies youth LB
PEH. Skipp.
Donley
Gil Veliz Youth Attacker

full rotation. Full punt. Anything under 5-0 is fine.

need Son, Bents, Udogie, Porro, Kulu, Johnson, GLC etc all fully fresh for West Ham and Newcastle since those games are actually winnable .

What is wrong with you people wanting to completely rotate for the subsequent games?

Spurs fans are still the biggest mentality issue with this club.

All I can hope for is that we at least give them a few frights and score a couple. But it's hard to see them not score at least three.

Sorry, but Villa and Wolves aren't attacking super powers. And they had no problems slotting two past our makeshift back 4.

Sadly, we have no more options at the back. As I don't think Ange will change his principles. He'd rather play with Emerson and Davies, than give the likes of Dorrington a go. Or even play the one CB we have. So, gotta just play our game and forget about the scoreline.

I'd like to see Ange give the youngsters some time in this game. I'd imagine it'll be over by the 60th minute. So, why not give some time to Donely, Dorrington?

I can't recall in my lifetime supporting Spurs, going ten games unbeaten, and then losing four in a row. In fact, I get this awful feeling we're not going to win again for a while.

Can’t put Dorrington in against Haaland, Emerson and Davies will be fine. Might even keep him to a single goal.

It’s gonna take a Pep masters class to beat our lot. We outplayed Villa without Biss and Sarr, with one or both back, we are a stronger side.

GLC and Deki were very good, last game,.

Johnson and Son to score. 2-2
