Was Haaland booked for that verbal assault on the ref near the end?
He should have been. Should have had a card for that forearm smash on Emerson too. McBurnie got a card for the same yesterday.

Praised our character and comeback, says in the past he’s called us soft but not today and that we played some good football, also acknowledged we need to get some players back. What did he say?
In support of this opinion I would use the hackneyed phrase "there's more than one way to skin a cat"I don't know whether it needs tweaks or not tbh, and time will tell. All I'm doing is pointing out to the poster I quoted that's what people are suggesting NOT that we have to return to no risk pragmatic football like he and many others on here are insinuating.
Every time there is any criticism of what we are doing there are a number of posters on here that start shouting about Conte and how we were playing under him, like that's the only alternative to what we are currently doing when it isn't. There is a whole range of in between park the bus and gung ho football.
Davies over Emerson at LCB for me!Even if Sarr isn’t back for WHam, we could line up like this
Vic
Porro Cuti Emerson Destiny
PEH Biss GLC
Deki Sonny BJ
That’s not half bad.
Have to say if I was at the top of my game in any sport I wouldn’t be on social media.Just watched game and seen on Twitter Royal & Davies getting pelters as usual,Royal very shaky first half admittedly and both exposed at times but ffs we were under siege and thought Davies in the circumstances was tremendous trying to organise the makeshift defence,he was everywhere, well played Ben,presumably some are expecting prime Sergio Ramos as understudy come January.

Opinions isn't it. Everyone else including Pep, Klopp, and SAF had to tweak their teams and way of playing to adapt to the game changing and different leagues.“Tweaks” sounds like compromise to me. With Ange we go all in. Risks are to be encouraged, not frowned upon.
I'm Royals biggest fan but he doesn't start LCB ahead of Davies...Even if Sarr isn’t back for WHam, we could line up like this

Ange has tweaked today though, albeit during the match, with the sub of Gil for PEH.Opinions isn't it. Everyone else including Pep, Klopp, and SAF had to tweak their teams and way of playing to adapt to the game changing and different leagues.

His decision making was awfulYeah Emerson's footwork under pressure is slow enough on his favoured side, not sure I'd want him having to run around the ball as well at LCB.

Charge the ****.
I don't think Ange makes system tweaks per se but he allows the players he selects to dictate that variation which is not really a bad idea. He is interesting in that he appears to have a very clear "philosophy" but not necessarily a rigid build up pattern within that unlike Conte.Opinions isn't it.
