I don't know whether it needs tweaks or not tbh, and time will tell. All I'm doing is pointing out to the poster I quoted that's what people are suggesting NOT that we have to return to no risk pragmatic football like he and many others on here are insinuating.

Every time there is any criticism of what we are doing there are a number of posters on here that start shouting about Conte and how we were playing under him, like that's the only alternative to what we are currently doing when it isn't. There is a whole range of in between park the bus and gung ho football.
In support of this opinion I would use the hackneyed phrase "there's more than one way to skin a cat"

I'm all in on Ange's attacking, all action plan. But I do see signs he tweaks this philosophy .....and as he adapts to managing in the Prem I can see he will do so further - particularly away against the big teams. Doesn't mean throwing his ideas out with the bathwater, just means tweaking (which will be easier when gets a 22 he Trusts rather than just a first XI)

I can see why Ange at this point does not want to compromise his principles.
His teaching of the system is still in its infancy and has worked well up until the unforeseen circumstances of recent weeks.
So changing it now can send a message that (whether subconscious or not )can lead to doubt creeping into the players minds.
.
And let's face it, but for some better decisions/choices from the players we would still be flying.

Just watched game and seen on Twitter Royal & Davies getting pelters as usual,Royal very shaky first half admittedly and both exposed at times but ffs we were under siege and thought Davies in the circumstances was tremendous trying to organise the makeshift defence,he was everywhere, well played Ben,presumably some are expecting prime Sergio Ramos as understudy come January.
Have to say if I was at the top of my game in any sport I wouldn’t be on social media.

“Tweaks” sounds like compromise to me. With Ange we go all in. Risks are to be encouraged, not frowned upon.

Opinions isn't it. Everyone else including Pep, Klopp, and SAF had to tweak their teams and way of playing to adapt to the game changing and different leagues.

Ange has tweaked today though, albeit during the match, with the sub of Gil for PEH.
He also did the same with bringing in Skipp and Veliz in the previous game, changing to two up top.
I think he's quite capable of changing tactics during game, shifting things around a bit but his philosophy remains the same no matter what.

There's a difference between tweaking things and changing the entire set up and style of the team.
Pep, Klippety and SAF all tweaked things, as does Ange but their way of playing the game never changes/changed.

Happily, Ange isn’t like them.

I think it’ll be fine for Ange to tweak in game tactics etc once we have arrived but we are still in the process of embedding a style and a culture and that should come first imo. And his obv.

I don't think Ange makes system tweaks per se but he allows the players he selects to dictate that variation which is not really a bad idea. He is interesting in that he appears to have a very clear "philosophy" but not necessarily a rigid build up pattern within that unlike Conte.

For instance today PEH coming on for Bryan was always going to bring down the chaos a peg, even if there was not a marked system change. To be honest the players are intelligent themselves and should be adapting to those out there on the pitch. E.g if Richarlison is up front then players like Porro, Kulusevski and Johnson should look to go down the outside more and float a cross in rather than trying to play it to his feet.

With Conte rightly or wrongly you always felt no matter the player they were brought into the team to do a very specific job. The difference is clearer when it comes to the attacking unit.
