He looked good in the first but second he just didnt get a chance to get forward. I like his pace... and he has a decent final ball

Very well taken goal tonight, was so pleasing to see someone so pack down the left again. Hard not to think of Bale when he was breaking through, I think we should try and avoid comparisons like that though.

Having watched Sess a lot over the last couple of years, he is quite a strange case. The lad has natural instinct to score goals. A lot of his goals were being in the right place at the right time for example rebounds or clever movement. He has decent vision which he showed a couple of times tonight but has never been a winger that will beat a man in a one on one situation.

It will be interesting where he ends up playing as I don't think he is aggressive enough to play at full back so I can't see the comparison to an Ashley Cole who always had an edge to him.

I think he will end up as a winger but not a Sancho, Sterling type.
I still think he'll be a better LB than a winger. Probably the best LB in the league in a few years.

He may well do. Looking at Davies tonight he has very similar attributes and I believe people are unsure about his best position whether at full back or further up.

Just everything about Sessegnon screams star in the making. No pressure on the lad, of course, but sometimes a player just gives you that sense, and it’s more than just their performances. He seems so focussed, intelligent and driven.

Great to see.

It’d be interesting to see him as the progressive wingback in Jose’s current lopsided back 4 with Foyth as the reserved full back.
I'm not sure the lop sided thing will be permanent. I think Jose is trying to play to the players strengths at the moment due to a lack of confidence. I could be wrong though.

For me he needs to toughen up and be more aggressive - lost the ball too many times by being too passive

Great control and finish

could have had an assist too with his ball in to the box for Eriksen

Best player for us today, he looks a real prospect for the future

Surely you can’t have a guy with his eye for goal and goalscoring record playing at LB

Has a hell of a lot to learn but has undoubted quality and talent too

It depends if he has Roberto Carlos levels of ability to offer both defensively and offensively.

If we find a way to get him developing his all round ability and we have the style of play that allows him to crush it in that area whilst not damaging the other attacking areas then why not? A top the moment he doesn't get in ahead of Sonny and rightly so yet both play wide left. If Aurier can be a genuinely attacking full back (he's had a lot of shots at goal since Mourinho took over) then why can't Sess?

I think the assessment JM made after the match was spot on, but he''l get hs chance to learn and improve. The goal was a nice boost for him and will help his confidence.

I'm liking very much the way he finished, hammering the ball into the back of the net last night!!????

The only player that impressed me in the Bayern Game - specially 1st half...
Needs more matches under his belt for fitness and progress.
Will be a star IMO

Really like him. Re: best position, difficult one though this.

Left back is a problem for us, and I think we'd kind of like him to solve it. He could also be (with experience etc.) a really good marauding LB. But...

Scoring goals is bloody hard. Some players just have the ability to do it. It's more than just finishing, they just seem to have the positioning and composure to do so. He definitely seems to be one of them, and for that reason I think you have to play him further forward - for now at least.

Really exciting though. I genuinely think he could be a winger (left or right), a LB or even a midfielder. He's got a great all round skill set
