Nice to beat those thugs. Especially from a set piece. Barnes is a nasty piece of work.
He is. I thought Oliver had a really good game but Barnes should have been in the book early which would have limited his thuggery later

More importantly - how about Sissoko and Davies the whipping boys? Both were very important defensively that second half.

It's a squad game and there's a reason why Mourinho - and Poch before him - rely on and trust these players.

COYS!

Totally agreed although maybe next time we could fecking start with Reguilon and Lo Celso and then bring on Sissoko and Davies when we just want to see out a game.

No complaints. This is what playing burnley does to teams, never gonna win easily at turf moor (very rarely I should say). Don’t give a shit about the performance, was exactly what I expected. Massive win.

Was a slog. But we got the 3 points. We looked comfortable when we went 1-0 before that we seemed a little on edge, and were poor on the ball. 3 points and a clean sheet, that's the important thing.

Results are all that matters and that was a massive 3 points. It also showed Mourinho that Davies and Doherty are both second choice options who should play Europa matches. The title is there to chase, but in my opinion, Mourinho has to find his best XI and play them in the league and do a full rotation to a second XI in Europa. All the other top teams will play their best players twice a week because of Champions League matches. The sooner he can get Lo Celso and Bale integrated, the better for the squad's chances of pushing for top 4 and beyond.

Professional performance. Wasn’t pretty but it was never going to be. These are types of games u have to find a way to win to compete in this league

Lloris, Toby, Højberg and Ndombele very good tonight. Kane with the vital contributions in both boxes. No pretty, but a great win to end a good weekend results wise for us

I love these games. We dug in, fought, and the goal came. Huge respect to burnley too, if they play like that, they’ll certainly take points off our rivals. But at the same time, fucking awful fixture and glad to get these bunch of lumps at turf moor out the way.
You need help, mate. Seriously.
