That last 10mins was horribly uncomfortable to sit through :)

Why do we watch football? So many more sensible things out there. COYS.
I actually think the first 75 before it were worse.

It's clear what the tactic was though. Don't give Burnley an inch and 100% concentration for set pieces.

Important win for many reasons.

Brighton and West Brom our next two... A great chance to put ourselves in a great position so early in the season

Not as fluent tonight but think we were owed that result after the West Ham one. Now we need another that balances the Newcastle one!

I thought the spine of the team all performed well tonight - Hugo, Toby, Ndombele and obviously Son and Kane were all really good tonight.

Actually despite those hiccups against Newcastle and spammers, and a loss to Everton, we are still 2 points from the top.

Hope those points lost are worthy points that got Mourinho a better understanding to tweak the squad and game against the oppositions. Would rather we slowly claim that top spot then being up there too soon and got the lads getting ahead of themselves.

That game was really no better than Bournemouth away last season, luckily we came away with the points this time.

Motm Kane for 2 crucial moments in both boxes.

We really need to improve against teams that sit deep. Our chance creation was pretty much non existent today.

Pretty undeserved but I'm quite content with that in a way. It's a first step on the road towards me being not so haunted by those 4 dropped points. Just need another lucky 2 points now and we're even!

I know watching Burnley is painful and they're anti-football and cynical and all that, but I thought they were very good today and have to give them credit. As poor as we were, we won’t play many harder games this year. Great 3 points
They were very good first half I thought.

Second half I think they screwed themselves by constantly going long. They were playing higher up the pitch first half.

Jose: Rodon is one for the future.

Also Jose: throws Rodon on to defend a fragile 1-0 lead away to Burnley.

We’ll see a lot of him this season imo

More importantly - how about Sissoko and Davies the whipping boys? Both were very important defensively that second half.

It's a squad game and there's a reason why Mourinho - and Poch before him - rely on and trust these players.

COYS!
True but the CF Kane is literally doing a CBs job. He was last week too and the week before.

Nowhere near as good from an attacking point of view as some of our games, but what a vital 3 points. Need to be able to grind out results.

Looking at the table, makes it so painful that we let the West Ham and Newcastle games slip.
