Not sure ‘abuse’ is right. But piling on the pressure ‘herd-mentality’ wise is nearer the mark
Agreed. And for some that can feel like you're stuck in the middle of a mob who are chanting: "Idiot. Idiot. Idiot. Idiot. Moron. Moron. Moron. Fart breath. Fart breath. Fart breath. Stupid McStupid Face. Stupid McStupid Face. Stupid McStupid Face."

Though to Denver's credit, they seem to have taken it in their stride.

Just thinking, next Thursday could and should be a key day for Levy as Tottenham chairman. Big clubs brassic, and/or hit with FFP and needing to sell, the stadium raking in money hand over fist and us with plenty of FFP headroom. Over to you chief negotiating businessman!

Whether Gallagher is ‘that’ player is another matter entirely, but it might put a marker down in terms of readdressing the balance of power.

I'd argue this is a dangerous scenario. More likely to spend for the sake of it because of a deal.

I'd rather we stick to the targets we have rather take advantage of other clubs positions. Glad Levy is supposedly sticking to his business side of the fence and letting the pro's get on with it.

He should still go and get someone who’s wanted and on the list, even if that’s not Gallagher. It’s a ripe moment for us to start acting like a big club - we are now the 8th richest in the World now, after all!

With the Wharton interest sounds like we might see which deal is most doable out of him and Gallagher and hit it at the end of the window. No issue from me, it’s been a very well run transfer window so far.

We're in a strong position financially because we haven't spent way over the odds on a load of players who weren't all that. I'd like to keep it that way. If Ange really likes him and he's cheap then fine, otherwise let Chelsea stew in the mess they've made.
