Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho says there is "no way" Harry Winks will be allowed to leave the club in January. England midfielder is desperate to go to Euro 2020 but has fallen out of favour at his club. The England midfielder has fallen out of Mourinho's first-choice side and has been mainly been restricted to Europa League action this season.

An injury to sissoko or hojbjerg and he is back in the 11, so he has to be patient.
There isn't much of a case for him to replace either of these players under the current system.
If the manager valued possession more then he'd have half a chance.

Problem Winks has, he isn't even making the bench for some league games and even when he is on the bench, isn't coming on. If he was, I think he may have held some hope of breaking back into the team and looked to stay and bide his time but with the way things are going for him and the Euros in the summer, he's probably thinking it's best to move out on loan to somewhere he is going to get minutes on the pitch and evaluate things in the summer.

Just think Mourinho isn't a fan of him playing in either Hojbjerg or Sissoko's position for a number of reasons and Ndombele and Lo Celso are comfortably ahead of him for the furthest forward in midfield. Provided we get cover in, think best for both parties he moves this January imo.
