Getting rid of the away goal just means both teams sit back in the first games and try not to lose the tie.

You would think the home teams would go for it a bit more because in most cases they're the weaker team having finished 2nd in the group, and unlikely to get a result in the 2nd leg

The CL has been pretty dull so far. No games that have been open and quality
There's not really a lot if exciting teams is there?

Only Madrid and City look elite and even they have kinda won by quality.

Barcelona, Napoli, Atletico, Milan, Dortmund, Benfica- not much spark about them, all shadows of teams they had in previous years.

Not even an Ajax to entertain.

It’s the weakest I’ve ever seen

It was a pretty dull round of 16 draw. Hopefully it means the qf onward will be great.

Yeah that's true. I think Inter is an elite team but they aren't exciting.

Arsenal though wouldn't play this cautiously in the PL even against City or Liverpool

I think Inter could go far this year. They have been incredibly tactically impressive and consistent in the league. Yes on paper they won’t trouble a City or RM but from a tactical point of view I think they could cause an upset. Just depends if they can keep their composure or if they wilt under the spotlight.

Kvara getting subbed on the 68th min pretty much sums up how out of sync Napoli are at the moment. Yes he was poor but he looks so shot of confidence. Very interesting to see what happens to a number of their star players this summer.

They look shocking. 1 shot and 0 on target at home in 75mins. Terrible for a team that was an attacking beast last year.

their form also means players like kvara who were 100million plus last year could easily be closer to half that price this summer.

Expert finish by Lewandowski.
Osimhen replies and gets subbed, he better be injured otherwise that's silly.

Actually its his first minutes since THAT stupid idiot cost Nigeria AFCON.

Just as i typed that, napoli score. Typical
Never underestimate how appalling Barca’s defence is!

Tonight’s showing pretty much sums up both teams. Barca should have scored 2 or 3 first half but have just look more and more disjointed as the game has gone on. Napoli on the other hand have just been bad, that goal doesn’t really change that. Was a goal out of nothing really.

It's the Italian way - get a goal, celebrate like they won the lottery, then shut up shop

Woolwich don’t look like they are interested in scoring at all, and Porto are pretty toothless. Nailed on 0-0.
