Indeed, they won't win either and that's why I'm not too fussed they've got through and boosted the English coefficient. No one can have seen that and been impressed. No chance they win either of them.

My bet is Inter, largely because they've already sown up the league (basically) and they just seem better than the others.Bayern, Man City, Real Madrid, Barca, Arsenal, PSG, and probably Inter and Dortmund.
The R16 didn't give us any mega ties but the QF sure will.
A bit harsh, the lad was 19.Why does that fucking dweeb score that and missed the England one. ****.
and West Ham Thursday.
Well unfortunately they were right if they said thatThat's probably what said about us before getting to the final
Yeah Liverpool and City have the proof of just flicking a switch and being at it.Arsenal are a strange one in that I'm still trying to figure out whether they're riding a massive wave or not at the moment. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they're not a good side because they simply are at the moment, but it feels like their confidence is at it's peak and enhancing their performances just that bit. Whereas I think Liverpool and City aren't at their peak level, but will without a doubt perform as they have been from now until the end of the season.
There's a question mark over Arsenal's mental capabilities as the season comes to an end that I don't think is a factor with the other two sides, but Arsenal are currently performing better. It's their CL performances that have me questioning whether that level is really cemented and fully engrained. Losing away to Porto, away to Lens and drawing away to PSV is something we're just not seeing happening to them in the EPL at the moment with what some may consider equivalent teams, but they are poor results for them really.
We don’t need the extra spot ffs, just get fourth and earn it.
Because I’d rather Villa or united didn’t make the champions league. Let’s get 4th (which is entirely in our hands), we have good fixtures left despite having to play the top 3, and leave the competition behind.Sure but why not pull for the extra lottery ticket incase it doesn't go as well as we'd like? We still have to play the top 3 plus Chelsea who for whatever reason could put out their U11 side against Spurs and they'd find a way to struggle.

It would mean a ton to them financially and in terms of football. It's the Champions League. Plus there is no group stage next year. They would have a very good chance of getting a top 24 spot and having a knockout playoff.CL means very little to Villa, they would just be out in the group stage. A few injuries and I wouldn’t be all that confident of 4th place finish. We’re still behind villa as well
