It's not about how much is spent, but what it is spent on. The actual total at the end doesn't bother me, I just want players Ange agrees to and think will strengthen the group.Leopard doesn’t change his spots, I think we will spend very little.
I think Ange's straight-talking yet also realism to the resources we have will help us get as much as we can in January, it'll likely depend if we can shift Dier etc if we can bring in a new CB.I may be the eternal optimist but it is clear for all to see drop in quality (especially CB) if injuries kick in and I dont think Danny will let it slide like he did the last time.
Higher than the top 4!!?? European Super League? There's a real opportunity to add a 1 vs 1 speedy LW in Jan - plus a CB for cover.
If we do that, and stay (relatively) injury free - free should finish top 4, if not higher
The league is so strange at this stage of the season though. There's no almost about it. All bar one team who've started the season this well has made the Top 4. There's the added cushion of 5th probably being enough this year anyway. And a 9 point gap down to 6th is very, very significant. It would be a shock and a significant dissapointment if we didn't make it from here.
We spent £16m two Januarys ago and completely turbo-boosted the team with Bentancur and Deki. It's not the amount, it's the right players for the team's needs.Leopard doesn’t change his spots, I think we will spend very little.
Will Levy though? history says he won’t. We have a good side but depth to finish first I don’t think so.
Will we strengthen? I don’t think that’s a given at all, when we are doing well history tells us Levy likes to spend little or keep the pennies closed.

Exactly! And we got it done with 10 men.Liverpool finding out those easy fixtures that we had are not as easy as they seem
Turns out our "easy" fixtures against Bournemouth (A), Luton (A) and Fulham (H) are only easy if you win them.
Just ask Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.
