To be in 4th/5th with this many injuries and red cards only bodes well for the future. Some of the wins sure looked ugly but we are finding ways to win even considering the points we have dropped. It is an amazing time to be a Spurs fan.

Mate, you’ll only look good for remembering you said that if you actually compete all 6. I reckon you a) went too soon b) care too much about looking like you’re right
It's all I care about. With regards to the other comment, have you been speaking to my wife?

Add to that the games we shouldn't have lost! We were battering Chelsea, West Ham and Villa and were 1-0 up v Wolves after 90 mins. COYS!

Yup !!

incredible to think, that but for 3 / 4 sliding doors moments we might have been 5 points clear at the top.

Ange has surpassed every expectation anyone could reasonably have had of his first season, and dont even get me started on Vicario (confession: I wanted David Reya. What an idiot !!)

Villa losing means we are only 3 points behind them now eith a game in hand. Also a bit concerned about man utd getting their shit together with new leadership. So that result has something for both the optimist (looking up) snd pessimist (keeping a wary eye on teams below us) in me!

4 more points needed to get to 40 and for me to feel safe from relegation. I do not jest - this is my first target every season. If we get there then I'll worry about what's next.

Watching last night and also the West Ham game, and supporting Utd to win, makes you realise how bad they really are. Garnacho got them out of a hole in the second half but that’s all they’ve got.
Udogie will need to sort him out when we go there next month.

I can see us having another slide down the table with the Romero news. Only buying one senior CB in the summer looks set to cost us again.

It's not just CB in january, we look really thin on january fixtures. On FA Cup and against ManUtd we could line up as:

Vic - Porro, Emerson, Davies, Udogie - Skipp, Höjberg, Lo Celso - Kulusevski, Richarlison, Johnson

With Forster, Dier, Dorrington, Phillips, Donley, Gil, Veliz, Scarlett and god knows who making up the bench. And that is without new injuries or suspensions. And those are likely to come as we can't rotate or make early subs and our playing style is demanding.

Yeah but get a Cb in, vdv could be back as could solomun, so things look a bit more positive.

I'm grasping onto the straw that is we took more points from the previous 3 matches than I thought we would. I doubt we'll get anything against Bournemouth if we play like we did today. We've got 3 matches to get through and then a lot of these injured players will be back, Bissouma, Sarr and Sonny might be back and we can attack the second half of the season.

The race to the ER, afcon and asian cup.

Tell you what, we are in a good position to finish top 4 but unfortunately we are letting the players to these cups. Players who should give everything to the club as club is making them rich.

As bad as it sounds, and bring me the negatives, but I am afraid it is a race for top6 not top4. We are too nice as a club. Basically a honeymoon destination.
